Tips for Improving Your Online Listings
FeaturedYour online listings are often your first impression for new customers. It was likely one of the first things you set up when you purchased Marketing Center. (If you haven't already, then click here for a full guide to doing so, this step is vital!)
While setting up your complete business information is a great foundation, there are still a few more steps to really make your listing stand out
1. Maximize your Reviews - Remember that both quality and quantity are important. Reviews are often one of the first areas of a listing that consumers check when making purchasing decisions. 2. Update your photos often - when consumers are trying to form an impression of your brand, trustworthiness is key. They want to see photos that are up to date and match the experience they have when they visit your location. OR, if you're a service-based business, the work you've completed recently. Photos on your listings shouldn't be a "set it and forget it" task. Click Here for a guide to updating your photos on your Google Business Profile, the best place to start.
3. Make a habit of going over your analytics for your entire lead funnel - while it may not sound as glamorous as the first two, you simply can't have great marketing without great analytics. Compare stats for your Enhanced Profiles or Google Business Profile with your Website, or get into even further detail with your heatmap, to see where the bottlenecks and breakdowns might be occurring. Use this to inform which part of your lead process can be optimized, and where you can increase customer touchpoints to move them along the process!
