Email in the Conversation - Attachment
Is there a option to include an attachment that would redirect me to the documents, in that email that's in the Conversation?
Again, i have a client that only scans using the subject line and my emails will be deleted.

I came up with a solution for the BIG Insurance Company. This method allowed my claim to show in the subject line and the invoice to attached as a PDF, so it could be forwarded to a 3rd party.
Duplicated my Thryv Page 2nd Page is Invoice
In conversation, i used two arrows,
subject: claim 123
type message: body of email
Insert/Edit Link-
on 2nd tab under Details:
Url: Copy n Paste 'Copy Public Link' Invoice (7 day window on link but it's enough time for adjuster)
Text to Display: Invoice #0200012

Hey there, AG$
See the below screenshot on where to add an attachment into your message, in addition in editing your message. Hope this helps! Please let us know if you have additional questions. Thanks!
1. In Business Center, with your clients card opened, click on the double arrows to expand the message box.
2. You can fully customize you message, edit your subject line and add an attachment on the next prompt.

Hi there AG$, let me help clarify. What you Can do in Business Center is use the button above to attach a link to a public document, (which you can house in your documents in Business Center, Click Here for a guide to grabbing the link)
Business Center doesn't offer the ability to add an attachment to a message the way that you would in an email provider (gmail etc.)
Our team is currently working on developing this capability, we will follow up on this thread when that is available, thank you!0 -
I deal with predominantly large insurance companies and HOPED this would be an option. When i was testing you software in January it wasn't an option, unfortunately. We'll just have to use the old work around. Thanks for helping!

Thanks for the background, that is helpful!
Remember, you are still able to use the Documents feature which does come with it's own advantages (they can return to the client portal to view the document as opposed to losing the email, you can easily attach it to invoices/estimates etc), and you can use the method of attaching the public link mentioned above
If any other users have a creative solution or way they use documents, leave a comment here!0 -
Thanks for posting! This is a great workflow and can be easily replicated for any business encountering the same situation!
