Great question James! We answered this question in this post as well.

After reviewing your account, your campaigns have been placed on hold because your Bounce Rate has been exceeded. It looks like in your case the campaigns sent on December 14, 2023 and November 23, 2023. Although this is inconvenient right now, this is actually is a great opportunity! This gives you the chance to clean up your email list in one big batch. If you export the list of bounced emails and either fix or remove them, and continue to keep your email list up to date, this should not happen again, and you'll have a much more valuable email list.

We have reset your bounce rate, so you should be able to send campaigns again. In the below explanation is a guide on how to "scrub" your email list.

What does all of this mean? To put it simply, it means too many emails you have sent "bounced." A Bounce is when the customer's email server rejects your campaign. This could happen for a number of reasons, including but not limited to:

    • Misspelled email addresses
    • The email address is no longer valid
    • Security settings on the part of the customer's email provider
    • The customer marking your email as Spam
