Stop unwanted calls and messages so you can focus on the clients who matter. The Keap™ mobile app lets you block specific phone numbers from reaching your Keap Business Line — so spam calls, robocalls, and unwanted contacts can no longer interrupt your day. When a blocked number calls or messages you, the call or message will not go through. Depending on the caller's carrier, they may receive a notification that their call could not be completed.
Why Blocking Numbers Protects Your Business Line
Your Keap™ Business Line is a dedicated phone number for your business — separate from your personal number. Keeping that line clean of spam calls and unwanted contacts means every call and message you receive is from someone who actually has a reason to reach you. Spam calls and unsolicited messages are not just an annoyance — they break your focus, waste time, and can make it harder to respond promptly to the clients and leads who matter.
Blocking a number in the Keap™ mobile app is immediate and does not notify the blocked caller that they have been blocked — their call simply will not connect. You can block numbers proactively from your Settings, or block a number directly from your call list after receiving an unwanted call. You can also unblock any number at any time from the Blocked Numbers screen in Settings.
How to View, Block, and Unblock Numbers in Settings
Use the Settings method to proactively block a number, view all currently blocked numbers, or unblock a number — without needing to find it in your call list first.
Open the Keap™ mobile app on your device. Tap the Settings icon — displayed as a gear icon — to open the Settings screen.

Tap Messaging and phone from the Settings menu. The Messaging and phone screen opens and displays options for managing your Keap™ Business Line settings.

Tap Blocked numbers from the Messaging and phone screen. The Blocked Numbers screen opens and displays a list of all phone numbers you have currently blocked.

To unblock a number: on the Blocked Numbers screen, locate the number you want to unblock. Tap the X button — displayed to the right of the phone number — to remove the number from your blocked list. The number is unblocked immediately.

Tapping the X button next to a number removes it from the blocked list immediately. The number will be able to reach your Keap™ Business Line again after being unblocked.

To add a new number to block: on the Blocked Numbers screen, tap Add a number to block. A number entry field appears. Type the phone number you want to block in the number entry field. Then tap Block to confirm. The number is added to your blocked list immediately.

How to Block a Number from Your Call List
Use this method to block a number immediately after making or receiving a call from it — without navigating to Settings first.

Tap the Communications tab — displayed as a phone icon in the bottom navigation bar of the Keap™ mobile app. The Communications screen opens and displays your recent calls and messages.

Tap Calls at the top of the Communications screen to view your call history. The Calls list displays all recent incoming and outgoing calls on your Keap™ Business Line.

Tap the phone number or contact name in the Calls list that you want to block. The call detail screen opens and displays information about that call.

On the call detail screen, tap the three-dot options button — displayed as three vertical dots in the upper right corner of the screen — to open the options menu. The options menu displays available actions for that call entry, including the option to block the number.

Tap Block number from the options menu. A confirmation prompt appears asking you to confirm the block. Tap Confirm to complete the block. The number is added to your blocked list immediately and will no longer be able to reach your Keap™ Business Line.

Does the blocked caller know they have been blocked?
When you block a number, the caller's call or message will not go through to your Keap™ Business Line. Whether the caller receives a notification depends on their carrier — some carriers notify the caller that their call could not be completed, while others do not. The Keap™ mobile app does not send any notification to the blocked number.
Can I unblock a number after blocking it?
Yes. You can unblock any blocked number at any time from the Blocked Numbers screen in Settings. Open the Keap™ mobile app and tap the Settings gear icon. Then tap Messaging and phone. Then tap Blocked numbers. On the Blocked Numbers screen, tap the X button to the right of the number you want to unblock. The number is unblocked immediately.
Is blocking numbers available in all countries?
No. The number blocking feature requires an active Keap™ Business Line, which is currently available to users in the United States and Canada only. Users outside the US and Canada do not have access to Keap™ Business Line features including number blocking.
Can I block a number I have not called or received a call from?
Yes. You can add any phone number to your blocked list proactively through the Settings method — you do not need to have a call history with the number first. Open the Keap™ mobile app, tap the Settings gear icon, tap Messaging and phone, tap Blocked numbers, then tap Add a number to block and enter the phone number you want to block.
