Tags are labels you apply to contact records to segment your contacts. A clean tag list helps you find the right contacts quickly and send the right message to each group. This article covers how to find, edit, and bulk-update tags from the Tags page in Settings. This feature is available on Keap Pro and Keap Max.

View contacts with a specific tag and change a tag
- Click on your user avatar and choose Settings.
- Click Tags.
- You can filter and sort tags by clicking the options at the top
- Select your desired tag from the list on the left side of the screen.
- You can change the name, category, and description of the tag.
- After closing the Edit box, it will display a list of contacts with the selected tag.
- Click the Tag existing contacts drop-down to add the selected tag to additional contacts. Once the contact is selected from the list, the tag will be applied.
- Click Select All to add or remove tags, send a broadcast, export, or delete all contacts with the selected tag.
- You may also add a new tag by clicking the + symbol next to the Tags header.
How to Edit a Tag Category
Update a tag category’s name and description to keep related tags organized and easy to find. Editing a category is separate from changing which category an individual tag belongs to.
These instructions apply to Keap Pro and Keap Max. Keap Ultimate uses a different Tag Categories experience.

Click the avatar followed by Settings.

Click Tag Categories.

Select the category you want to edit.

Click Edit category in the category details panel.

Update the Tag category name and Tag category description fields as needed.

Click Save to apply the changes, or Cancel to leave the category unchanged.

How to Bulk Edit Multiple Tags at Once
Bulk actions let you delete or categorize several tags in a single step instead of updating them one at a time.
Click "Settings" in the left-hand navigation.
Then click "Tags".
Click the checkbox next to each tag you want to update.
Click "Assign a Category" to move all selected tags into one category, or click "Delete" to bulk remove them from your list of tags.
If you have a filter applied to your tag list, bulk actions only apply to the tags currently shown by that filter, not to your full tag list.
