Manage your contact tags without leaving the Keap mobile app. Tags are searchable labels applied to contact records that help you organize your list and trigger automations. From any contact record in the Keap mobile app, you can add existing tags, create new tags, edit tag names, and delete tags — individually or in bulk.

This article covers how to add, edit, and delete tags from a contact record in the Keap mobile app. The Keap mobile app must be installed on your iOS or Android device before using these features. For installation instructions, see how to install the Keap mobile app.

How to Add a Tag to a Contact

1. Open the contact record for the contact you want to tag.
2. Tap More at the bottom of the contact record to open the contact actions menu. 
   
   
3. Tap Add a tag from the contact actions menu. 
   
   
4. Select a tag from the list to apply it to the contact. The tag will be applied to the contact record immediately.

How to Edit or Delete a Tag

1. Open the contact record for any contact that has the tag you want to edit or delete.
2. Tap More at the bottom of the contact record to open the contact actions menu. 
   
   
3. Tap Add a tag from the contact actions menu to open the tag management screen. 
   
   
4. Tap Manage to open the full list of tags available in your account. 
   
   
5. Select the tag you want to edit or delete from the tag list. 
   
   
6. Edit the tag name and tap Save to update the tag, or tap Delete to permanently remove the tag from your account. Deleting a tag removes it from all contact records it is currently applied to. 
   
   

How to Delete Multiple Tags at Once

1. Open the contact record for any contact in the Keap mobile app.
2. Tap More at the bottom of the contact record to open the contact actions menu. 
   
   
3. Tap Add a tag from the contact actions menu to open the tag management screen. 
   
   
4. Tap Manage to open the full list of tags available in your account. 
   
   
5. Tap Edit to enter selection mode. In selection mode, checkboxes appear next to each tag in the list. 
   
   
6. Select each tag you want to delete by tapping the checkbox next to each tag name. You can select as many tags as needed.
7. Tap Delete to permanently remove all selected tags from your account. Deleted tags are removed from all contact records they are currently applied to.
