Push Notifications to Staff for Appointments Scheduled Internally
Hello!
My client had a question about when the client schedules an appointment internally (the client schedules the appointment on their own calendar) and assigns it to a staff member if the staff member receives a push notification. We tested it on their Thryv and they did not receive a push notification.
If the client's customer schedules an appointment, they receive a push notification, but they will mostly be scheduling their own appointments on the calendar and assign it to their staff.
Their staff is receiving emails when an appointment is reassigned, but client would like a push notification. Any suggestions? Thank you!

Kennedy thanks for your post! This is a request I've heard before. One way we've seen business owners solve for this is to ensure that staff members have an email app on their phone that gives push notifications, so that while they don't get a notification directly from Thryv, they at least get the push notification from the email. In order to keep these notifications from getting lost, some email apps do have ways of filtering which emails trigger notifications, like routing them to a certain folder or taking advantage of Gmail's "labels" feature.
With all of that being said, from what it sounds like you really want to have push notifications for appointments created/reassigned by other staff, which is a current request in our feedback center. I have added you to this request which counts as a vote in its favor and ensures you are notified in the event this feature is added to the roadmap.
