Thryv's approach to product feedback.
Here at Thryv, we take product feedback extremely seriously.
We believe that listening to our Thryv users and collaborating on ways to improve the software is the best way to build a better product.
We use your feedback to identify the most important features, ideas, pain points, and opportunities so that you can get more value from our product as efficiently as possible. We do this by prioritizing feature releases based on votes from users like you. When more users vote on a request, it is pushed up the priority list. While it's not always feasible to release each feature in the exact order of user votes, it creates our guideline to prioritize. The feasibility, time it takes to work on a feature, and the ability to work on features concurrently are also factors.
How to Submit a Request:
To submit a feature request, navigate to Thryv Support Center > Share Your Feedback > Make a Suggestion
Type what feature request you would like added. There is a box for you to state what you are trying to achieve. Please add as much detail as you can in this field. The more detail you can provide, such as how adding the feature would benefit you and how you would use it, the better. You can also add if you have any current workarounds that you currently use to achieve this action.
After you fill in the first field, "What is Your Feature Request?" you will be shown a list of similar features based on your suggestion. If one of these features accomplishes what you are trying to suggest, it is better to vote on an existing feature rather than submit a new one, as you may risk splitting the vote. In order to avoid this, we sometimes merge requests in order to better determine the highest priority for the most users. You will always be notified when this happens.
If your use case has something unique to add that is not mentioned in the existing feature request, you can also leave a comment on it for our product team to see and take into consideration. To do this, scroll down and click on Discussion. In the space provided, write your comment. This comment will display to other users, and directly notify our product team.
You can also Vote on Ideas/Requests that are submitted by other Thryv Users!
Scroll down to Suggested By Others to see the current top priorities of other Thryv users. These will be the highest prioritized requests currently. If you also would like to see that feature added, click on the thumbs up icon. This will add a vote to that request, and ensure you are included in updates on the status of that feature's release.
You can also set your Priorities to let us know which features are more important to you!
How to set your priorities:
For each suggestion that you submit or vote on, you will be able to tell us which is more important to you by setting the priority. For the feature, you want the most you can slide the slider over to the right the furthest, and set your priority for the rest of the feature you want accordingly.
Search Existing Feature Requests
If you want to search for feature requests instead of viewing in order of most popular, you will need to pop out the feedback center into a full window. To do this, click on the Pop-Out icon in the top right.
From here, click on Search in the top right corner. You can use search terms including tabs within the Thryv software or features you would like to see in Thryv, to see other users' ideas about how to improve and vote on them.
Once you vote for another user's request, you will receive updates about the status of that request including when it is delivered. You also can comment on it if you feel there is more information that needs to be added.
FAQs
What is the typical turnaround time for a feature request?
Truthfully, it is difficult to determine that. It depends on several factors, such as interest from other users, the complexity of the request, and whether it fits in with Thryv's long-term plans. As a general rule, we give each request time to gather interest from other users before it is added to the roadmap.
What happens to your product feedback?
All new requests are reviewed by the Thryv Product team. New requests that are being considered are set to the "Awaiting Feedback" status so that Thryv users can vote and prioritize requests. This allows the Thryv Product Team to gauge demand, gather use cases, and establish impact and value.
Our Product Team holds a product feedback meeting to discuss the highest priorities for our Thryv users and look at how the requests align with our own strategy.
If we decide to build a feature, the status will change to "Planned". This means that the feature has been added to the Thryv product roadmap.
Anyone who has submitted or voted on a specific request will be notified when the status changes.
Our Thryv product feedback portal always has the most up-to-date information about Thryv and what we are building next.
If you reach out directly to our Support teams, they'll be able to look up ideas for you, but they won't have any additional information or be able to provide an estimate for when your request will be reviewed or change status.
How will I be notified about feature releases?
If you submitted the feature request, you will receive an email notifying you when the feature has been approved and has moved to the Building stage. You will receive another email notification once that feature is Delivered.
All new features will display in the 'What's New' section in Share Your Feedback. All Thryv users can see new releases. Only Thryv users, that submitted the feature request or voted on it, will be notified about it via email.
If I am experiencing a bug or a current Thryv feature is not working properly, is this a good place to submit that?
No. While we take feedback very seriously and are always trying to improve, new suggestions are not always checked daily with the urgency that would be necessary to fix a bug that is impacting your daily use. The fastest way to report a bug or feature not working correctly would be to call support at 844-998-4798 or send an email to support@thryv.com
How long will it be before the product team reviews my idea?
Feature requests will be reviewed by the Thryv Product Team on a weekly basis; the top requests will be taken in for consideration and their status updated where appropriate. Make sure your ideas are clear and concise so others can vote on it & prioritize its importance to them. Also, be sure to prioritize your own requests too - that way, we will know if a particular request is important to you.
My request hasn't been reviewed yet and I submitted it 6+ months ago. What can I do?
If we haven't reviewed your item yet and it is a high priority for you:
- Make sure it's at the top of your priority list
- Make sure your request is clear. Why do you need this? What is it stopping you from doing? What is the impact of that? Please add these details in a comment on your idea.
Thank you for your feedback, understanding, and support as we work together to build the best Thryv possible!

It would be nice to see a date "timestamps" when the posts were created and features released inside the Feedback Portal. Is this by designed?
Thank you this is fantastic feedback! We have an open request for it in the feedback center and we have proactively added you to it. This counts as a vote in it's favor and ensures that you are notified of it's progress!
