    Thanks for your question Brock!

Unfortunately, once an estimate is approved, it can't be edited, even the billing information. However, if you go into the Client Card for this client, and make the necessary changes to their billing information, it will be correct when you convert the estimate to an invoice

If your client isn't satisfied with the billing information being correct on the invoice, then you would need to start again with a new estimate. If the client is okay as long as the billing information ends up correct on the invoice, then you can make the changes and continue.

If this does not work or if you run into anything else, leave us another comment here and we will help!

Hi team... are you saying i have the option to change the client on any drafts? Or is that only estimate drafts?

    Thanks

    AG

Great question AG$. Technically what is going on here is that when an estimate converts to an invoice is when new information on the client card will change. Going from draft to approved within estimate OR within invoice won't change it.

With that said, what you can do with a draft is click on the tri-dots>Copy Invoice and select the same client again to create a duplicate draft with the new information and delete your old one. Keep in mind this will be the next invoice number, unless you go back to the invoice and manually change it back to the old one.

So in short, either duplicating the draft to create a new estimate/invoice OR converting from estimate to invoice will add new information from the client card. In the meantime I've added the feedback to our feedback center that you'd like the ability to edit it in real time in draft status, thank you and let us know if this helps!
