This article covers how to create, customize, and edit invoices in the Keap™ Mobile app. Invoices can be added from a contact record, a contact's activity feed, or a Keap Business Line communication thread. To use these features, first install Keap Mobile on an iOS or Android device.
Why Send Invoices From Keap Mobile
Sending invoices from Keap Mobile allows payment requests to be sent immediately after a meeting or service — without returning to a desktop. Clients can pay by credit card or through PayPal and Venmo, and invoices can be delivered by email, shared link, or Keap Business Line text message.
Add an Invoice to a Contact
An invoice can be added in three ways from the Keap Mobile app.
From a Contact Record
Navigate to the contact record.
Tap the More button.

Tap Add an invoice.

From a Contact's Activity Feed
Note: This method requires an invoice to have already been sent to or drafted for the selected contact.
Navigate to the contact record.

Tap the Money card in the activity feed.

Tap the + button in the top-right corner.
From a Keap Business Line Communication Thread
Note: This method requires the Keap Business Line to be set up.
Navigate to the Keap Business Line communication thread with the contact.

Tap the $ button.

Customize an Invoice
After adding an invoice to a contact, the invoice customization screen appears.

Tap Add a line item to create a new product or select from existing products.

After selecting a product, edit the price and quantity as needed.

Tap the pencil icon to edit the product name or description for this invoice.
Note: Changes made to the product name or description here apply to the current invoice only and do not permanently update the product.

Select a due date.

Enter any notes to include for the client on the invoice.

Select a payment method. Credit card payments allow clients to pay by card. PayPal enables clients to pay using a PayPal or Venmo account. For more information on Keap's online payment options, see the Keap merchant account and payment options article.

Tap Next in the upper-right corner to continue.

Select how to send the invoice — via email, by copying and sharing the invoice link outside of Keap, or through a Keap Business Line text message.

Edit an Invoice Draft
Navigate to the contact record that has an existing invoice draft.

Tap the Money card in the activity feed.

Select the invoice draft to edit.
Tap the Edit button.

What does this article cover?

Is the Keap Business Line required to send invoices in Keap Mobile?
No. The Keap Business Line is only required when adding an invoice from a communication thread or when sending the invoice via text message. Invoices can be added from a contact record or activity feed and sent via email or shared link without the Keap Business Line.
Do changes made to a product name or description on an invoice update the product permanently?
No. Editing a product name or description from the invoice customization screen applies only to the current invoice. The product record itself is not updated.
