When your team works out of the same account, knowing which settings apply to everyone and which each staff member can control individually prevents confusion and keeps your business running consistently. Thryv Business Center lets you give each staff member their own profile, calendar, and service settings under your company's brand, while keeping core business settings centralized under the Primary Admin account. Which Account Settings Apply to All Staff Members
The Primary Admin account holds the company information and core settings that are shared across all staff accounts. Staff members cannot change these settings individually. The following settings are controlled by the Primary Admin and apply to all staff members:
- Business Information - Company name, phone number, and address.
- Services - The full list of services and appointment options available in the account. Each staff member can select which services from the list they provide, but the list itself is managed by the Primary Admin.
- Calendar and online scheduler display - General calendar layout and online booking settings.
- Reminders and confirmation notifications - Automated appointment reminders and booking confirmations sent to clients.
- Automatic email notifications - System-generated email notifications triggered by client activity.
- Payments - Payment gateway, merchant account, and invoice settings.
- Logo and branding - Company logo and brand settings that appear across all client-facing touchpoints.
- Client card settings - The fields and information collected and stored on each client record in your CRM.
- Client Portal - The client-facing portal displays the company profile and branding and allows clients to choose a service and select the team member they want to work with.
- Roles and permissions - The Primary Admin sets the role and permission level for each staff member.
Which Settings Individual Staff Members Can Customize
Each staff member can update certain personal settings within their own account without affecting other staff members or the company-wide settings. Staff members can update their login email address, display name, and profile image in their individual settings. The following additional settings can also be configured individually by each staff member:
- Services - Select which services from the company service list the staff member provides.
- Availability - Add and modify availability for the services the staff member provides.
- Personal calendar sync - Sync a personal calendar to display time slots as busy on the Thryv Business Center calendar.
- Email signature - Add a personal email signature to outgoing messages.
- Mobile phone number - Add a mobile phone number to receive text and SMS notifications.

How to Use the View All and Only Me Setting
Staff members with Admin, Manager, or Collaborator permissions can switch between viewing activity for all staff members or viewing only their own activity. The View All and Only Me setting is available in the Inbox, Calendar, Sales, and Documents tabs. Use the View All setting when you need an overview of all activity across your team. Use the Only Me setting to focus on your own tasks and activity.
