With Thryv Business Center™, you are able to create a single announcement and send it through Email and/or Text Message (SMS) without recreating your work.
You can easily create your announcements and decide how to deliver based on the client information available, and ensure the delivery of a consistent message across all channels. Announcements are great for communications like newsletters, promotions, or communicating important changes about your business.

Create an Announcement and Send
You will be creating a single announcement which you can send to your clients through Email. Click Here for instructions on sending your announcement through Text Message (SMS)
- Navigate to Marketing>Announcements.
- Select New Announcement.
- Select from the available templates, or Create Your Own.
- If creating your own, select an action to 'Invite client(s)' to:
- Based on your selection enter the appropriate information:

- Schedule

Visit Your Social Media Profile
- You will have the option to choose whether to send your customers to your Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn pages.

- Be sure to format your email announcement and add your content. The announcement will consist of a button for the action selected. You can also Add a coupon to your email, but only for the option of "Schedule." For instructions on how to create a coupon visit our Settings section in the Knowledge Center.
- Click Done.
- Click Send on your announcement
- Choose to send your announcement via Email
- Click on Avoid re-sending to clients that this campaign was already sent to if applicable.
- Click Continue.
- Select the Tags or the Clients that you want to receive the announcement.

- Click Continue
- Click on Send now for the immediate delivery of your announcement.

FAQ
How do I add an attachment to an announcement?
Attachments are not able to be added to email announcements. A better alternative is to upload your attachment to My Documents in Thryv Business Center, then grab a public link for that document. Click Here for a guide on this process.
Is reporting available for announcements?

Can customers respond to announcements?
No, marketing announcements are sent from a no-reply email address. If you want to initiate a conversation, choose "Contact Us" as your call to action and invite your customers to fill out a contact form.
Is this the only way to mass message my customers? Can't I just send them all a regular message so they don't have to opt in?
This is the only mechanism available for mass messaging to your customers, as this ensures compliance with CAN-SPAM and federal regulation. Messages to multiple contacts through the inbox are limited for this reason. If you intend to send a message to all of your customers at once (or even a large amount) it must be done through Announcements.
