We are excited to announce the launch of Thryv Workforce Center, Thryv's automated payroll solution! At the time, Thryv Workforce Center is only available to users of Thryv Command Center, who have purchased after August 1st, 2023. A version of Thryv Workforce Center compatible with all Thryv accounts is under active development.
Managing payroll settings is crucial for ensuring that your employees are paid accurately and on time. Whether you need to adjust your payroll schedule or update your payroll bank account information, making these changes can help streamline your payroll process. This guide will walk you through how to modify your settings and ensure everything runs smoothly.
To access your payroll settings, click on the Settings icon from any screen in Thryv Workforce Center
Payroll Schedule
This section displays your current payroll frequency and when the next deadline to run payroll occurs.
To make changes to these, click on Edit. The details for your payroll schedule will pop out from the right-hand side. From here, you can make any necessary changes including a name for your payroll schedule, change the frequency, first pay date, and end of first pay period. Click on Save Changes to put these changes into effect. To discard your changes, click on Close in the top right.
Click on Preview Upcoming Paydays to view a calendar containing upcoming pay dates, deadlines to run payroll, and upcoming bank holidays for the next four months. No changes can be made from this screen, you will need to close this window and click on Edit under Payroll Schedule if you wish to make any changes.
Payment Bank Account
This section displays the bank account used for payroll. To change the bank account used, click on Replace.
A confirmation screen will appear where you can confirm you are ready to delete the previous bank account information and replace it with the new one. Only one bank account can be used at a time, and one must always be stored. Click on Delete & Add New to continue.
Choose whether to connect your bank account through Plaid or manually.
If you choose to verify manually, Click Here
Select your bank account from the list, or find it by searching. If your bank does not appear, this means your bank does not connect to Plaid, and you'll have to verify manually.
Log in with your online banking credentials
Click Allow to grant the necessary permissions to verify your bank account
Manual Verification
Type in your bank account information, then click Save New Account
Once you save your account, Thryv will send two test deposits to your account. This can take 1-2 business days
Return to this screen and enter the deposit amounts, then click Submit Test Deposits. If the amounts are incorrect on 5 attempts, Thryv will send two new test deposits
