Why Thryv Reporting Center Helps You Run a Smarter Business
Running a business means making decisions every day about which services are driving revenue, which clients are most active, and where your time is actually going. Thryv Reporting Center brings your business data together in one place so you can stop guessing and start acting on real numbers. Whether you want a quick snapshot of performance or a custom view that pulls data across multiple Thryv features, your reports are ready when you need them.
Thryv Reporting Center includes prebuilt reports that are automatically available to you, plus a custom report builder so you can track the exact metrics that matter most to your business. You can even combine data from multiple Thryv features into a single custom report. This article covers how to access your reports, how to use prebuilt reports, how to create and manage custom reports, and how to adjust the data displayed when viewing any report. For a step-by-step walkthrough of building a new custom report, see [How to Build a Custom Report in Thryv Reporting Center].
How to Access Thryv Reporting Center
Click the nine-dot app launcher icon in the top-left corner of the page. In the menu that opens, click Reporting Center.
Once inside, you will see three tabs across the top of the Reports page: Prebuilt, My Reports, and Shared with me. Use these tabs to navigate between your different report types. Below the tabs, you will see product filter buttons for each Thryv product you have access to, such as Business Center and Marketing Center. Products with an active subscription display a green Active badge next to the product name.
How to View and Use Prebuilt Reports
Prebuilt reports are ready-to-use reports that Thryv Reporting Center automatically creates for you, organized by product. Click the product name whose reports you want to review. The selected product highlights in blue and its prebuilt report tiles appear below. You must have an active subscription to a product to view its prebuilt reports.
To open a specific report, click its tile. The report opens and displays all of its included metrics, each shown as an individual tile. The metrics inside a prebuilt report are fixed and cannot be removed or replaced. If you want to modify which metrics a report tracks, click Duplicate at the top of the report. Thryv Reporting Center will save a copy to your My Reports tab as a custom report that you can edit freely.
How to Create and Manage Custom Reports
Custom reports let you choose exactly which metrics to track and combine data from different Thryv features into a single view. Click the My Reports tab to see all of the custom reports you have created. Each report tile shows the report name, the staff member who created it, the date it was created, and whether the report is set to Private.
To open an existing custom report, click its tile. From inside the report you can edit it or share it with a staff member. To start a new custom report, click New Report in the top-right corner of the My Reports page. For a complete walkthrough of building a custom report from scratch, see [How to Create a New Custom Report in Thryv Reporting Center].
Viewing A Report
When viewing a report, you are able to customize the data displayed for each metric.
Changing the Chart Type
To change how a metric is displayed, click the three-dot menu icon in the top-right corner of the metric tile. In the dropdown that appears, click Change Chart.
A window labeled Change Chart will open displaying six chart type options. Each option includes a description of when to use it. Select the chart type that fits your data, then click Continue. The metric tile will update to display your data in the newly selected format.
Changing the Date Range
To update the date range for every metric in a report at once, click the Master Date Range dropdown at the top of the report page. The following options are available: 7D (7 days), MTD (month to date), 4W (4 weeks), 12W (12 weeks), and 6M (6 months). The selection applies to all metric tiles in the report simultaneously.
To change the date range for a single metric only, click the date range selector at the top of that metric tile. A dropdown will appear with the following options: Custom date range, Last 7 days, Month to date, Last 4 weeks, Last 12 weeks, Last 6 months, Last 12 months, and Last 24 months. Selecting Custom date range opens a calendar where you can set a specific start and end date. Click Apply to confirm your selection. Changes made at the tile level affect only that metric and do not update the rest of the report.
