To access your client list, select Clients from the left navigation pane. (Note: The term "Clients" will be replaced by a different CRM term if one is selected in Settings>Business Info)
Your Client List
Once you have added your clients in Business Center, they will present in an alphabetical list that you can search and also apply filters to find clients by activity, status, tags, and saved filters.
From the client list you can perform the following actions
- Add New Contact- Clients are automatically created on your account once they contact you on your website forms, or you can manually add clients yourself when they call or step into your office.
- Invite Via Email - Choose one or multiple clients from your list and send them an invitation to connect with you through your Client Portal, or grab a link to your one of your Client Portal's actions and post them on your social media or email campaigns.
- Import clients into your account from your Google Contacts or from an existing CSV file.
- Export clients to a spreadsheet
- Back to old version takes you to the classic client list
Filters
To filter your view to only certain clients, click on Filters. In the menu that appears, select a combination of filters to apply to your client list
Click on one of the available filters, and then check the box for the values you want included in the list. Note that if multiple items are checked, all items containing any of those values will display.
When filtering by tags, you are able to select OR or AND logic. When OR is selected, clients containing any selected tags will be displayed. When AND is selected, clients containing ALL tags will be displayed.
At the bottom of the list are Smart Filters. These filters are not based on data in the client card, but rather actions taken elsewhere in Thryv Business Center. When one or more of these filters are selected, any clients who meet the matching criteria will display.
High Thryver Tip: Make sure to note all client activities, including offline (cash/check) payments, appointments, or other action in Thryv Business Center, so that this information stays accurate.
Remember, you can apply multiple filters to your view at a time. When filters are applied they will display above your client list. Only clients who fit all of the filters will display. To dismiss an individual filter, click on the X icon next to it. Or, to clear all filters, click on Clear All
Saved Views
A saved view of your client list is a customized list based on certain criteria. In addition, you can customize the order of your columns to create additional views, so that you can quickly see which information is important to you.
Hide A View
To hide a view, click on the x next to the title. The view won't be deleted altogether, but rather it will be hidden in the views drop-down. The counter will indicate how many views are hidden in the drop-down. You can click on Views to bring the view back to your dashboard.
Rearrange Your Columns
You are able to arrange the columns in any order you like, and save them into custom views. To rearrange your columns, click on the Columns button.
In the menu that appears, use the checkboxes to determine which columns appear. You can uncheck a box to hide that column from your view. In addition, use the handlebars on the far left to drag columns into the desired order. The columns in this view from top to bottom will be arranged from left to right in your view.
After rearranging your columns, you are able to save this view for future use. To do so, click on Save. Pre-set views can not be edited, but you can save changes as a new view altogether.
Bulk Actions
As part of the beta, bulk actions are currently available for select accounts.
Once you have created a client view, you are able to take bulk actions on all clients within that view, or a select list. To select clients, use the checkboxes. To Select All, use the checkbox in the header row. Otherwise, you can check or uncheck clients individually.
Once you have selected your clients, select a bulk action to take. Use this to take one of the following actions with 2 or more clients:
- Invite via Email - Invite the clients to take an action with your client portal, including signing in to the portal or scheduling an appointment
- Add tags - add tags from selected clients in one action
- Change Status - change the group of clients to a new client status
- Remove tags - remove one or more tags from all selected clients at once
- Merge - Merge the contacts into one contact. For this, you will select one existing contact to remain the primary contact. All other contacts selected will be merged as separate sub-accounts under the main one. Note that clients are not notified of this action.
- Share internal or external document - add a document to all client cards at once, and if Share is chosen, the clients are notified and can access the document via their client portal
Search Your View
To search for a client within your current view, use the search bar beneath your views. The list below will filter according to your search.
Note: This search bar only searches clients within your current view. If you wish to search all of your clients, either use the global search bar at the top of your screen, or set your view to All.
