Your credit card used to pay your invoices to Thryv can be changed in My Account. This guide will show you how to add a card or bank account on file for the first time, as well as update or delete an existing payment method. To start, navigate to My Account from any screen in Thryv.
1. In My Account, click on Account Profile in the left-hand navigation
2. Under Account Profile, click on Payment Methods
3. From this screen you will be able to add or change your payment method.
To add a new payment method, click on the + icon. Or, to modify an existing payment method, click on Edit or Delete. Changes in payment methods can take up to 10 minutes to reflect on the page.
There are two ways to add a payment method. You are able to connect a credit card, or connect your bank account directly via Plaid.
Connect A Credit Card
To connect a credit card, select credit card at the top of the window that appears. Then, fill out all necessary fields. Once you have done so, click on Add
Connect Your Bank Account
Don't know your account and routing number? No problem! Thryv uses a service called Plaid to retrieve To connect your bank account directly, using only your online banking credentials. Click on Transfer With Plaid at the top of the window that appears. A confirmation screen will appear, click on Continue.
Select your bank from the list, or use the search bar to search for it.
Once you've selected your bank, sign in with your online banking credentials. Enter your username and password, then click Continue
Note: This information is only used for a one-time login and is not stored by Thryv.
Plaid will log into your online banking to retrieve your bank information. A success screen will appear, click on Continue. Then, you'll need to review the permissions Plaid must access to connect your bank account. To allow permission, click on Allow

Is there a limit to the amount of saved payment methods I can have?
No, you can have as many saved payment methods as you like. Only one can be set as default however.
I have a bank account, but I don't use online banking. Can I still connect my bank account?
Unfortunately Plaid requires online credentials to retrieve your account information. Online banking is a requirement to connect your bank account to Thryv.
If my online banking credentials change, do I need to re-connect my bank account?
No, Plaid only requires a one-time sign in to connect your bank account. Once it is connected you are all set!
I'm trying to connect with Plaid, but I don't see my bank listed
This means your bank does not participate with Plaid. Unfortunately this means you will not be able to connect your bank account. You will need to use a different bank account or a credit/debit card.
How do I pay my Thryv bill?
Now that you have a card on file, we will charge that card for you every month, so you don't have one more bill to log in and pay each month! If you need to change your card on file, follow the steps in this guide.
