Scrubbing bounced emails
I want to decrease the amount of bounced emails when I sent out an email campaign. I have tagged the accounts that have bounced but I noticed that people that have not opted in for SMS/emails might still get the communication and mark it as spam. How can I ensure that the email only goes out to those who opted in for the communication?

Hi Daniel,
Marketing announcements will only go to individuals who have previously opted in. As you find recipients who have bounced, we recommend updating or removing those emails from your list before sending the next campaign to prevent any bounce rate errors in the future. A contact that is marked as bounce does not automatically opt them out from your future marketing emails. Some users find it helpful to run their lists through a third party email validator service such as NeverBounce (https://www.neverbounce.com/) or Mailboxlayer (https://mailboxlayer.com/), to help ensure the accuracy of your email list.
I have also linked our guide on scrubbing bounced emails here.
I hope this helps! Please let us know if you have any questions.0
