Why don't I have the ability to do a partial refund?
I am trying to issue a partial refund to someone but when I click on refund it only gives me an option to issue a full refund. I see that I should be able to refund a specific dollar amount or percentage but I don't have it. We use Braintree to process payments which is one of the compatible payment options in order to do partial refunds. Is there a setting I have to turn on in order to have that option?

Great question Nicole! The answer is that this functionality is not supported with Braintree. Support for Braintree is retired by Thryv, though users who already had it connected (such as yourself) are grandfathered in. However this means Braintree does not receive updates since its retirement, which includes partial refunds. To take advantage of partial refunds, you would need to switch to a supported payment processor. Click Here for an article comparing the available options.
