Businesses do not need to have their listing 'claimed' in order to advertise on Yelp, or connect it to Thryv Marketing Center, since Thryv is the party purchasing the advertising on their behalf. However, it is worth sharing a distinction with that. Outside of Thryv, if businesses are purchasing advertising through Yelp directly, then the business owner would be required to claim their listing first ( this step is to help the business owner gain access/claim their Yelp for Business account with their email as their login. After they've claimed their listing, they can also purchase Yelp ads in their Yelp for Business account, respond to reviews, receive Request a Quotes, etc.).
