Thanks for your post Ashley! Are you asking how to refund the deposit portion of an invoice payment specifically? OR do you mean of the deposit, you only want to refund part of the deposit?

Keep in mind, Thryv Business Center is not currently able to refund a portion of a payment, only the amount of a payment made. Since the deposit and remainder of the invoice would be separate payments, you could refund the deposit (keep in mind that amount would still show as due on the invoice).
