Hey there THOMAS! Thanks for bringing this up, as this is a very interesting use case! Business Center today can do this however with some important limitations.

Here are the steps to follow:
    1. In order to do this, you will need to navigate to Settings>Client & Contact Info (For your customer Client has probably been replaced with Pet)

    2. Locate the Phone Number field and Opt-In Field (by default this will say By checking here, I direct Thryv to send an opt-in text offering this contact an opportunity to subscribe to SMS marketing. This contact gave me their mobile number with no use limitation.) What you need to do with these fields is click on the edit icon and make them both Required fields. In order to receive the message we're sending we'll need a valid phone number and need for them to be opted in. Also, make sure that these fields are included on the intake form you plan to use on your website, Facebook, Instagram, and anywhere else you're collecting leads.

    3.  Then, once your form is set up, navigate to Marketing>Automated Campaigns. Create an automated campaign using the New Lead trigger. Make sure your instructions are in the body text and that your action button is set to schedule an appointment for the consultation service. Also, make sure that it is set to send by SMS. Click Here for a full guide to automated campaigns

    Some limitations to consider

    1. In order for your customer to receive the message, they have to complete double opt-in in order for Business Center to comply with federal laws around texting customers. When they fill out the form, they will receive a text message to confirm their opt-in, and they must respond yes. If they don't do so, they won't get the message

    2. The response won't be instant. It will batch at the time set for the campaign to be sent and send to all leads from the last 24 hours at once.

Note that we do have an option to instantly send the message and not require double opt-in if the message is being sent through email rather than SMS. This process is simpler, happy to provide guidance for this as well.

Let us know if you run into trouble or have any other questions, thanks for posting!

As mentioned in my earlier post, our dog trainer will be running campaigns on various platforms, each with a landing page that will feed into his Thryv. He needs to track the source of each lead. I know that UTM codes can be added to the URLs of those landing pages to identify the source but the question becomes how to get that information into his Thryv or if it can even be done. Any ideas or alternate solutions?

Great question THOMAS! Thryv already does this, you don't actually need to take any additional action. As long as you are using the Thryv Business Center contact forms, the referring URL will automatically appear under Source Details.

While this isn't available to sort or filter clients by, this field does show up on exports!
