FAQ
My post was taken down by Facebook or Instagram, can Thryv do anything about this?
No. Which posts are taken down is entirely at the discretion of Meta. Thryv does not have any recourse to appeal this decision. If you wish to appeal a decision made by Meta, this must be done by the page owner. Click Here for a guide to Meta's appeal process.
Will posting through Thryv automatically ensure that I am following Meta's community standards?
While any content created by Thryv through our managed social media packages will be in compliance with Meta's community standards through diligent training of our content writers and an expert understanding of Meta's guidelines, you as the Thryv user are responsible for any content created yourself, whether it was posted through Thryv or to the social site directly. Meta's community standards apply the same no matter where the post originated from.
Can I post an image to a social network that does not fit the size described above?
Yes, usually each site will still let you post the image if it does not fit the guidelines. However the site will resize your image accordingly before it goes live, which may lead to the image being distorted.
Will Meta take action against my page for repeated violations?
Yes. Meta uses a strike system to restrict pages from creating content after violations, although they reserve the right to take quicker and more severe action based on the violation. Click Here for a full guide to actions that Meta may take against your page.
If Meta restricts my page, will I still be able to post from Thryv?
No, if Meta restricts your page, you will not be able to post from any platform.
