High-quality, customized imagery is essential for building a brand that looks established and trustworthy. The built-in Image Editor gives you professional-grade tools directly within your workflow, allowing you to refine your photos without ever leaving the platform.
By tailoring your images to fit your specific layout, you ensure your site looks cohesive and intentional rather than "templated".
Access the Image Editor
- Click on the desired image, and then click on Manage Image.
2. In the window that appears, click on the Edit Icon.
The editor provides several layers of customization to help your visuals stand out.
Precision Cropping: Use the Crop tool to manually focus on what matters or select from pre-set aspect ratios to ensure your images fit perfectly in their designated slots.
Background Removal: With the Remove Background tool, you can instantly isolate subjects or products with a single click, which is ideal for creating clean, modern "floating" graphics.
Custom Overlays: Add Text, Icons, or even secondary Images on top of your original file to create custom banners, announcements, or watermarked content.
Fine-Tuning: Use Adjustments to balance brightness, saturation, and contrast, or apply Filters and Blurs to ensure your background images don't distract from your headline text.
Intelligent File Management
The system is designed to protect your original assets while you experiment.
Non-Destructive Editing: When you save your changes, the editor creates a new version of the file rather than overwriting the original.
Auto-Naming: Your new images will be saved with a unique ID (e.g., your-image-abc123.jpg) and stored in your Site Images folder for easy access later.
Undo/Redo Support: Feel free to test different filters or borders; you can easily step back through your actions using the top bar controls.
Image Editing FAQs
How do I resize an image file?
The Image Editor focuses on Cropping rather than technical file resizing. If you need to change the dimensions, use the Crop tool to select the appropriate aspect ratio for your site's layout.
Can I change the opacity of my image?
While you cannot edit the opacity of the image file itself, you can achieve a similar professional effect by applying a Filter or a colored Overlay to "soften" the image and make overlapping text easier to read.
Why aren't my zoom settings saving?
The Zoom tool at the top of the editor is for your viewing convenience during the editing process only. It helps you see fine details while you work but does not change the final scale of the image on your live site.
Can I use my own branded graphics as stickers?
Yes. Within the Icons/Stickers section, you can choose to Upload Sticker, allowing you to place your own custom brand elements or badges directly onto your photos.
