Benefits of Your Marketing Health Score
Your Marketing Health Score helps you identify where to focus your online marketing efforts. The score combines information about your listings, website, and social media so you can understand your online presence and prioritize improvements.
Thryv® provides recommended actions to help you strengthen your online presence. Use the recommendations to improve business information, respond to reviews, and build a consistent social media presence. Run another scan after making improvements to measure changes in your Marketing Health Score.
The illustration shows example scores of 49 and 88. Results vary by business; completing recommendations does not guarantee a specific score increase.
This article covers viewing your Marketing Health Score, understanding the score categories, and scan allowances. For setup instructions, learn how to manage your online listings or connect your social media pages.
How to View Your Marketing Health Score
Click Health Score in the left-hand navigation to view your Marketing Health Score and recommended actions. The page displays your total score, the Update score button, and the time of the last update.

How to Improve Your Listings Score
Accurate, complete, and consistent business information helps potential customers find and contact your business. Your Listings Score evaluates your business listings, along with review ratings and review responses. Inconsistent or incomplete business information can reduce your Listings Score.
Click Start next to Sync your listings across 40+ sites, or click Listings Management in the left-hand navigation, to manage your business information. Keep your business name, address, phone number, hours, and other details accurate and consistent.
Responding to reviews helps customers feel heard and gives potential customers more information about your business. Click Start next to Respond to a review with AI assistance, or click Reputation in the left-hand navigation. Use ThryvAI to draft a response, then review and personalize the wording before publishing.
The example Listings section displays two recommendations: Sync your listings across 40+ sites and Respond to a review with AI assistance. Each recommendation includes a separate Start button.
How to Improve Your Website Score
Your Website Score evaluates your website’s discoverability and engagement. Website factors include keyword rankings, visitor activity, and how visitors interact with your website. Use the score and recommendations to identify opportunities to make your business easier to find and your website easier to use.
A landing page focuses visitors on a specific action, such as contacting your business or requesting a service. Click Start next to Preview your new website to open the available website preview.
Click Start next to Compare your business to local competitors to open the competitor comparison workflow. Each scan generates both your Marketing Health Score and Competitor Ranking reports, so generating both reports does not require two separate scans.
The example Website section displays two recommendations: Preview your new website and Compare your business to local competitors. Each recommendation includes a separate Start button.
How to Improve Your Social Score
Your Social Score evaluates your social media presence, including active platforms, follower count, and posting activity. Connecting your social media accounts and sharing useful content consistently helps potential customers learn about your business and stay familiar with your services.
Click Start next to Connect your social accounts to connect your supported social media pages. After connecting your accounts, create posts for selected platforms and schedule content in advance. Review social analytics to understand which content and platforms generate engagement.
Click Start next to Automate a post with AI to open the related content-creation workflow. Use ThryvAI to draft captions, then review the wording for accuracy and adjust the caption for your audience before publishing.
The example Social section displays two recommendations: Connect your social accounts and Automate a post with AI. Each recommendation includes a separate Start button.
Frequently Asked Questions About Your Marketing Health Score
How is my Marketing Health Score calculated?
Your Marketing Health Score combines three categories:
- Listings Score: Business-information completeness, accuracy, and consistency, plus review ratings and responses.
- Website Score: Website discoverability, usability, and engagement.
- Social Score: Connected social media activity, reach, and follower count.
How often is my Marketing Health Score updated?
Your Marketing Health Score updates when you run a new scan. Changes to your listings, website, or social media do not automatically update the displayed score.
Free trial accounts include three scans during the 30-day trial. Each scan generates both your Marketing Health Score and Competitor Ranking reports.
Paid accounts include one scan per monthly billing period. Each scan generates both reports, and your scan allowance resets on your billing date.
Do Marketing Health Score and Competitor Ranking have separate scan allowances?
No. The same scan generates both reports. Paid accounts receive one scan per monthly billing period, covering both Marketing Health Score and Competitor Ranking.
Where can I see when my scan allowance resets?
The Health Score page does not display the scan allowance reset date. For paid accounts, the allowance resets on your billing date.
If I make a change, will my Marketing Health Score update right away?
No. Your displayed score stays the same until you run another scan. Allow time for changes to appear on the relevant websites before scanning again. Listing updates can take 24–48 hours, and website changes depend on when search engines recrawl and process the updated pages.
Do my social media accounts need to be connected?
Your social media accounts must be connected to Thryv for social media data to contribute to your Marketing Health Score. Connecting your supported social media accounts helps the score reflect your business’s social presence.
