If the Pipelines tab is no longer visible in your My Day section, the most common cause is a permissions change on your user account. This article explains where the Pipelines tab is located, which permissions control access to it, and how an admin can restore pipeline access for a user.
This article does not cover managing deals within a pipeline or creating and renaming pipelines. To learn about those topics, see how to create, delete, and rename pipelines and how to manage deals in the Keap pipeline.
Where to Find the Pipelines Tab
The Pipelines tab is located inside My Day in the left-hand navigation. To access the pipeline view, click My Day in the left-hand navigation, then select the Pipelines tab at the top of the page. The Pipelines tab displays alongside other My Day views such as Tasks and Calendar.
If the Pipelines tab does not appear after clicking My Day, the issue is most likely a permissions setting on your account. See the section below for how to check and restore pipeline permissions.
Why the Pipelines Tab May Have Disappeared
The Pipelines tab is controlled by user-level permissions. If an admin changes the permissions assigned to your user role, features like Pipelines can be removed from your view without any other changes to your account. This is the most common reason a tab that was previously visible is no longer there.
Three pipeline-related permissions control what a user can see and do in the pipeline:
- Configure pipelines — Allows a user to configure pipelines. This permission controls whether the Pipelines tab is visible at all.
- View all pipeline deals — Allows a user to view all deals in a pipeline, including deals assigned to other users or unassigned deals.
If Configure pipelines is turned off for your user role, the Pipelines tab will not appear in My Day. An admin on your account must re-enable this permission to restore access.
How an Admin Can Restore Pipeline Access
Only users with admin access can update permissions. If you are the admin, follow these steps to restore pipeline access for a user. If you are not the admin, share this article with the person who manages your account settings.
- Click your avatar (profile icon) in the top-right corner of the screen followed by Settings.
- Click Users and Permissions in the left-hand navigation.
- Click the Roles & Permissions tab.
- In the Search permissions field, type
pipelineto filter the list to pipeline-related permissions.
- Under the Sales section, locate Configure pipelines.
- Toggle Configure pipelines to Yes to restore the Pipelines tab for that user.
- Enable View all pipeline deals if the user should have visibility into deals assigned to other users or unassigned deals.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does this article cover the Pipelines dashboard widget?
No. This article covers the Pipelines tab in My Day for Keap Max and Keap Pro users. The Sales Pipeline dashboard widget is a separate feature available only in Keap Max Classic. Max Classic also uses opportunity records rather than pipelines. If you are a Max Classic user looking for help with the Sales Pipeline dashboard, see Sales Pipeline Dashboard in Keap Max Classic.
Can a user restore their own pipeline permissions?
No. Only admins can update user permissions. If you do not have admin access, ask the person who manages your account to follow the steps in the "How an Admin Can Restore Pipeline Access" section above.
The Pipelines tab is visible but some deals are missing. Is that a permissions issue?
Yes, this can also be a permissions issue. If the View all pipeline deals permission is turned off, a user can see the Pipelines tab but will only see deals assigned directly to them. Deals assigned to other users or unassigned deals will not be visible. An admin can enable View all pipeline deals in the same permissions section described above.
What if restoring permissions does not bring back the Pipelines tab?
If the Configure pipelines permission is enabled but the Pipelines tab still does not appear, try refreshing your browser or logging out and back in to apply the permission change. If the tab is still not visible after that, contact Keap support via live chat or by calling 1-866-800-0004.
