How to Connect Thryv to HubSpot
To get started, select HubSpot from the integrations menu.
Then, check the box to allow Thryv to share data with HubSpot. Click Here to see a full list of the data shared.
Then, click on the first New Authentication button. A name for the connection between Thryv and HubSpot will be generated. There is no need to edit this name. Click on Create to proceed.
Then, click on New Authentication in the section with the HubSpot logo. You will see the name given to the authentication again. Click on Create and you will be asked to sign in with your HubSpot credentials.
Once you are signed in to your account, the setup is complete, and leads will automatically start flowing from Thryv to HubSpot
How It Works
Leads Are Automatically Synced — Once connected, Thryv will monitor incoming leads and send them to HubSpot in real time.
Contacts Are Created or Updated — For each incoming lead, the integration checks whether a matching Contact already exists in HubSpot by email address. If it does, the record is updated. If it doesn't, a new Contact is created.
Notes and Context Are Attached — Call activity and form submission details are appended to the Contact as notes, building a running communication history so your team always has context.
Work the Lead in HubSpot — Your leads appear in HubSpot as Contacts with full context attached. From there, continue your normal workflow, add notes, create deals, schedule follow-ups, send quotes.
What Data Is Shared
When a lead is synced, the following information is sent to HubSpot:
Name (first and last)
Email address
Phone number
Address (if available)
Thryv Score (written as a custom contact property)
Thryv Sentiment (written as a custom contact property)
Call conversation summary and key notes (attached as a contact note)
Form submission details (attached as a contact note, when applicable)
Managing Your Integration
View Status You can check whether HubSpot is connected from the Integrations Directory at any time.
Disconnect Anytime You can uninstall the integration at any time. This will:
Stop new leads from syncing to HubSpot
Revoke Marketing Center's access to your HubSpot account
Existing Contact records in HubSpot are not affected when you disconnect.
