When your QuickBooks Online integration disconnects, your CRM stops syncing contacts, products, and invoices with QuickBooks automatically. Any transactions, client records, or product updates made while the integration is disconnected will not transfer between the two platforms, meaning your financial records and your CRM will be out of sync until the connection is restored. The longer the integration stays disconnected, the more manual cleanup you may need to do to reconcile the gap.
This article covers how to reconnect your QuickBooks Online integration. It does not cover what to do if your QuickBooks sync is still not working after reconnecting, or if QuickBooks failed to disconnect when you expected it to.

FAQ
Does reconnecting QuickBooks Online automatically backfill data from while the integration was disconnected?
Partially. Reconnecting will resync your contact and product data, but not your invoice and payment data.
Will reconnecting QuickBooks Online affect my existing records or cause duplicates?
In some cases, yes. If an invoice was synced before the disconnection and then modified after reconnecting, for example, by adding a payment to an existing invoice, a duplicate invoice may be generated in your CRM. Review any invoices that were active during the disconnection period after reconnecting to confirm there are no duplicates.
Why did my QuickBooks Online integration disconnect?
There are two common causes. The most likely cause is a sync error that interrupted the connection between QuickBooks Online and your CRM. In these cases, reconnecting resolves the issue. The second cause is a change to your subscription. If your subscription was cancelled or downgraded, the QuickBooks Online integration will disconnect automatically.
