Connect Thryv® Growth Platform to Jobber to send qualifying leads into your job-management workflow without manually copying contact information. The integration creates or updates Client records in Jobber and captures sent invoice amounts associated with monitored Clients for reporting.
This article covers connecting Jobber, lead filtering, shared data, invoice monitoring, reconnecting an existing integration, and disconnecting. The integration does not create appointments or Client records in Thryv from Jobber, sync job history, or track collected payments.
Benefits of Connecting Thryv to Jobber
Automatically sending leads to Jobber helps your team respond faster and prepare for follow-up conversations. Synced Client records include available contact information, lead-quality tags, and call notes, so your team can continue working in Jobber.
The integration sends leads scored 3, 4, or 5, along with leads that have no score. Leads scored 1 or 2 are excluded. When Thryv finds a matching Jobber Client, the integration updates the existing record instead of creating another Client.
Invoice monitoring connects sent invoice amounts with Clients originally synced from Thryv leads. Capturing invoice amounts provides data for reporting elsewhere in Thryv. Invoice amounts represent invoiced work and do not establish that a customer paid.
Requirements for Connecting Thryv and Jobber
To connect the integration, you need:
- A Thryv account with access to Thryv Growth Platform, including a free trial account.
- A Jobber account and permission to authorize the connection.
The integration does not require a specific Jobber subscription plan.
How to Connect Jobber From Thryv
1. Click Settings in the left-hand navigation.
The screenshot shows the Settings navigation option beside a gear icon. Click Settings to open the submenu containing the integration controls.
2. Click Integrations in the Settings submenu.
The Integrations page contains the available connections to external systems.
The screenshot shows the Settings submenu with Call recording, Destination number, AI Lead Insights, and Integrations. An orange outline highlights Integrations. Click Integrations to view available connections.
3. Locate Jobber and click Connect.
The screenshot shows the Integrations page with a Search integrations field and an Alphabetical A–Z sorting control. The example lists Housecall Pro, HubSpot, and Jobber, each with a separate Connect button on the right. Click Connect on the Jobber row. Available integrations can differ from the example.
4. Review and accept the terms and requested access.
Continue using the authorization button on the permissions screen. The connection then redirects you to Jobber.

You can also start the connection from the Thryv listing in Jobber’s Marketplace.
1. Open Jobber’s Marketplace and search for Thryv.
2. Open the Thryv listing and click Connect.
3. Follow the authorization prompts to connect your accounts.
Which Leads Sync to Jobber?
The integration checks the lead score provided by AI Lead Insights. The Jobber integration reads the score; the integration does not calculate a separate score.
| Lead score | Syncs to Jobber? |
|---|---|
| 3, 4, or 5 | Yes |
| No score | Yes |
| 1 or 2 | No |
A lead can have no score when the interaction contains insufficient information for scoring or when AI Lead Insights is disabled. Unscored leads still sync so the absence of a score does not prevent delivery.
All lead types can sync when the filtering rule allows delivery. The filtering rule is fixed and cannot be changed by the customer.
Qualifying leads generally appear in Jobber in under five minutes, depending on AI processing and API calls. The integration sends new leads received after connecting; the integration does not backfill leads received before connecting.
For score definitions and eligibility, learn how AI Lead Insights calculates lead scores and sentiment.
What Information Syncs From Thryv to Jobber?
The integration sends available information from the qualifying lead:
- First and last name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Street address, when captured
- Lead score, when available
- Sentiment: Positive, Neutral, or Negative
- Category tags from AI Lead Insights
- Call conversation summary and key notes, attached as a Client note
The integration does not send additional contact fields, payment information, or job history from Thryv to Jobber.
How Does Thryv Match Existing Jobber Clients?
Thryv checks for an existing Client in the following order:
- The Jobber contact ID, when available
- Email address
- Phone number
When Thryv finds a match, the integration updates the synced contact fields with Thryv’s information when the values differ. For example, if the email address matches but Thryv contains the first name “Bob” and Jobber contains “Robert,” the integration can update the Jobber first name to “Bob.”
When no match exists, the integration creates a new Client record.
How to Find Synced Leads in Jobber
Open Clients in Jobber to find leads delivered from Thryv. Open a Client record to review the available contact information, tags, and notes before following up.
The screenshot shows Clients selected in Jobber’s left-hand navigation. The page includes Filter by tag, a Status filter, and a Search clients field. The table contains columns for Name, Address, Tags, Status, and Last Activity.
An orange outline highlights example Client records. The Tags column includes examples such as Lead Score 4, Sentiment Neutral, and Sentiment Negative. The pictured records have a Lead status. Open a Client record to review available contact details and notes. A Jobber Lead status is separate from the numerical lead score supplied by Thryv.
The Clients list example shows synced records with contact information and lead-quality tags. Lead-score and sentiment tags help identify the information supplied by Thryv. Continue managing jobs, quotes, invoices, and customer communication in Jobber.
Benefits of Monitoring Jobber Invoice Amounts
Invoice monitoring captures the value of sent invoices associated with monitored Jobber Clients. Capturing invoice amounts helps connect lead activity with invoiced business and supplies data for reporting elsewhere in Thryv.
Invoiced amounts are different from collected payments. Thryv reads invoice amounts, not payment status. An invoice can contribute to the reported amount even when the customer has not paid.
How Jobber Invoice Monitoring Works
Invoice monitoring became available on September 25, 2026. Thryv checks Jobber invoice activity once daily for Clients originally synced from Thryv leads and eligible for monitoring.
The invoice must have been sent to the customer in Jobber. Monitoring excludes quotes, estimates, and draft invoices.
Sent invoices can contribute amounts when the Jobber invoice status is:
- Awaiting Payment
- Past Due
- Paid
- Bad Debt
- Voided
Bad Debt and Voided invoice amounts are included. The integration captures sent invoice amounts even when the end customer does not pay. Thryv does not read payment status to determine collected revenue.
Invoice monitoring is read-only: Thryv does not create, edit, or delete Jobber invoices. Lead syncing separately creates or updates Jobber Client records.
The integration captures invoice amounts and stores the amounts for reporting in other parts of Thryv. Connecting Jobber does not, by itself, establish that projected ROI has switched to actual ROI.
How to Enable Invoice Monitoring for an Existing Connection
If you connected Jobber before invoice monitoring became available, reauthorize the integration to enable invoice monitoring.
You may receive a reauthentication message in Jobber. Follow the reauthentication prompts to renew access.
Alternatively, reconnect from Thryv:
1. Click Settings in the left-hand navigation, then click Integrations.
2. Open the Jobber integration and disconnect the existing connection.
3. Click Connect and complete the authorization process again.
Monitoring starts after reconnecting and applies to leads synced after reconnecting. Leads synced before reconnecting—including leads synced between September 25 and reauthorization—do not receive historical invoice monitoring.
Previously synced Client records and previously captured data remain in Jobber and Thryv when you disconnect and reconnect.
[Image placement: Add a demo screenshot of the Jobber reauthentication message, if available. Alternatively, show the current Jobber integration management controls in Thryv. The older live article does not include a dedicated reauthentication screenshot.]
How to Check or Disconnect the Jobber Connection
Check the Connection in Thryv
Click Settings, then click Integrations, and open Jobber to review the connection.
An Action Required status indicates an issue preventing the integration from connecting, such as an authentication error. Review the available connection instructions and renew authorization when needed.
Check or Disconnect the Connection in Jobber
Click Apps in Jobber and open Thryv. Jobber displays Connect when the integration is disconnected and Disconnect when the integration is connected.
Click Disconnect to remove the connection.
The screenshot shows the lower portion of Jobber’s navigation, including Expenses, Timesheets, Community, and Apps. An orange outline highlights Apps. Click Apps, then open Thryv to access the integration’s connection controls. According to Philip’s confirmation, Jobber displays Connect when disconnected and Disconnect when connected. Those controls are not visible in this navigation screenshot.
What Happens When I Disconnect?
Disconnecting stops new lead syncing and invoice monitoring. Previously synced Client records remain in Jobber, and previously captured data remains in Thryv. Disconnecting does not delete existing data from either platform.
Troubleshooting the Jobber Integration
Why Is a Lead Missing From Jobber?
Check the following:
- Connection: Review Jobber in Settings, then Integrations, for connection issues.
- Lead score: Leads scored 1 or 2 do not sync. Leads scored 3–5 and unscored leads can sync.
- Lead timing: Leads received before connecting are not backfilled.
- Processing time: Allow for AI processing and API calls; qualifying leads generally appear in under five minutes.
- Existing Client: Search for a matching email address or phone number. Thryv may have updated an existing Client instead of creating another record.
If a qualifying new lead remains missing, contact Thryv Support with the lead details and connection status.
Why Is an Invoice Amount Missing?
Check whether the connection has been reauthorized for invoice monitoring. For an older connection, monitoring begins after reconnecting and applies to leads synced afterward.
Confirm that the Client originated from an eligible Thryv lead and that the invoice was sent to the customer in Jobber. Quotes, estimates, and drafts do not qualify. Allow time for the once-daily invoice check.
If an eligible sent invoice remains missing, contact Thryv Support with the Client, invoice, and connection details.
Limitations and Frequently Asked Questions
Does the Integration Work During a Free Trial?
Yes. A free trial account with access to Thryv Growth Platform can use the Jobber integration.
Does the Integration Sync Data in Both Directions?
The integration sends qualifying leads from Thryv to Jobber and reads eligible invoice amounts from Jobber for reporting. The connection is not a full two-way sync of contacts, appointments, jobs, and payments.
Can I Change the Lead-Score Filter?
No. The integration sends leads scored 3, 4, or 5 and leads with no score. Leads scored 1 or 2 are excluded.
Will Older Leads or Invoices Be Backfilled?
No. Lead syncing begins with new leads received after connecting. For existing connections requiring reauthorization, invoice monitoring begins after reconnecting and applies to leads synced afterward.
Does Thryv Track Paid Revenue From Jobber?
No. The integration reads sent invoice amounts and does not read payment status. Reported invoice amounts can include unpaid, Bad Debt, and Voided invoices.
Does Thryv Change Jobber Records?
Lead syncing creates new Client records or updates matching Clients with synced contact information. Invoice monitoring only reads invoice amounts and does not modify invoices.
Can Jobber Create Appointments or Client Records in Thryv?
No. The Jobber integration does not create appointments or Client records in Thryv. Invoice amounts are the only Jobber data captured back into Thryv through this integration.
