FAQ
Is there a character limit for my text messages?
Standard text messages (SMS) are typically limited to 160 characters. However, Thryv Text and Voice allows you to send longer messages by automatically breaking them into segments or converting them to a multimedia message (MMS). Keep in mind that very long messages may be delivered as multiple texts depending on the recipient's mobile carrier.
Can I send picture messages through Thryv Text and Voice?
At this time Thryv Text and Voice can only send text messages.
Can Thryv Text and Voice use Merge Fields?
Yes, Thryv Text and Voice can use merge fields to dynamically include content from a contact record.
Can I see if my customer has read my text message? While Thryv Text and Voice tracks the delivery status to the carrier, "Read Receipts" (knowing exactly when a customer opened the text) are not currently supported. This is due to privacy limitations set by individual mobile phone manufacturers and carriers.
