What Is the Difference Between a 1 on 1 Appointment and a Group Event

Can Multiple Staff Members Host the Same Group Event
No. Only one staff member can be assigned to each Group Event. Different staff members can host different occurrences within the same event series, but each individual event occurrence can only have one staff member assigned to it.
Will Clients Be Notified If a Group Event Is Canceled
Yes. When a Group Event is canceled, Thryv Business Center automatically sends a cancellation email to all clients who are registered for that event.
When Is Payment Due for a Group Event
Group Events scheduled in the future are not considered Due until the day of the event. Future events fall into the Not Due Yet payment category. On the day of the event, the payment status changes to Due.
If the Group Event requires payment upfront and a client registers through your online scheduler or an invitation link, the client must submit payment at the time of registration in order to complete the registration. If you register a client for a Group Event with an upfront price on the client's behalf, the notification sent to the client will include a Pay button requesting payment for the event.
Can a Client Register for All Events in a Series at Once
No. Clients can only register for one Group Event occurrence at a time. Only the business can register a client for all occurrences in a Group Event series. To register a client for an entire series, the business must complete the registration on the client's behalf inside Thryv Business Center.
Can I Add a Client to a Group Event After It Has Been Completed
Yes. You can add a client to a Group Event after the event has been completed. However, the client will not receive any notification when they are added to a completed event. If you need the client to be informed, contact the client directly after adding them to the completed event.
