Instead of generic "call back" messages, this integration provides you with structured project details from customers who are ready to get started. Because these leads come with the information you need upfront, you can skip the back-and-forth and move straight to a professional quote. By managing these requests from the same platform you use for your day-to-day operations, you stay organized and responsive.

Eligibility Requirements

In order to use Request a Quote with YP, you must meet the following requirements:

• You must have an active, claimed YP profile. Ensure that your profile is active in your Thryv Listings settings

• This YP profile must belong to an eligible category on YP. If your category is eligible, the toggle for YP Request a Quote will appear on your Yellow Pages enhanced profile in your Thryv listings settings (see screenshot above). If your category is ineligible, the toggle will be off by default and can not be enabled. 

How to Set Up

If you meet the eligibility requirements, a banner will display at the top of your Thryv overview page. Click on Enable to be taken to the proper screen to set up Request a Quote.

Alternatively, if you have dismissed this banner, you are able to activate anytime by clicking on Listings Management in your left-hand navigation. 

Scroll down to your Enhanced Profiles and locate your YP profile. Then, set the toggle for Request a Quote to On. 

A pop-up window will appear momentarily, followed by a message indicating that your setup is complete. For confirmation, you can view the welcome message in your Leads inbox. 

How Request a Quote Appears on Your YP profile

Once activated, the Get Quote button will appear on your YP profile on the search results page. 

Your lead will be required to fill out a form detailing the nature of their inquiry. This form may vary slightly based on your business category to ensure relevant information is captured.

How a Quote Request Appears in Thryv

Your quote requests from YP will appear in your Leads Inbox, as well as the Recent Leads section of your Overview page.

In Your Leads Inbox

When a lead submits a form on your YP profile, the full details will appear in your Leads inbox. To access, click on Leads in your left-hand navigation. 

You will see the full results of their request. From here, you are able to type a response to follow-up and capture any information needed to complete their request. 

When a lead is received, an automatically generated response will be sent to them containing a message to acknowledge the lead and invite further interaction.

The following information is captured from leads from YP Request a Quote:

• Their first name and last initial
• General location (or zip code)
• Form questions and responses
• A URL to view photos or files that are initially attached

In the Recent Leads Section

Quote Requests from YP will appear in your recent leads, with Quote Request appearing as the Type. You can use the filter drop-down to filter for only quote requests to appear. 

Note: If you are also a user of Yelp Request a Quote, these also will appear as a Quote Request. Use the Source column to identify whether the request came from YP or Yelp.

How to Disable YP Request a Quote from Thryv

In the event you want to disable YP Request a Quote, navigate to your YP Enhanced Profile in Thryv by clicking on Listings Management, then click on the YP Logo. 

Next, switch the toggle for Request a Quote to Off. 

A pop-up will appear confirming the disconnection. Click on Disable to confirm. The Get Quote button will be removed from your YP Enhanced Profile and you will no longer be able to receive new messages from leads through YP.
