The AI Content Assistant aims to simplify and accelerate content creation for Marketing, Sales, Business Automation, and customer-facing users by leveraging AI to save time and effort. AI Content Assistant helps compose emails and notes quickly and easily, enabling users to save time and quickly adjust elements such as message tone and length without time-consuming editing or re-writes.

Accessing the AI Content Assistant
The AI Content Assistant is available anywhere you see the Wand icon within supported editors. This includes emails sent from a contact record, notes on a contact record, and email steps within Easy Automations.
From a Contact Record
- Open the contact record you want to email.
- Select the Email icon from the list of actions.
- Click the Wand icon located at the bottom of the email editor.
From a Contact’s Notes
- Navigate to a contact record.
- Select the Note icon from the list of actions.
- Click the Wand icon within the notes editor.
From an Easy Automation

Open or create an Easy Automation.
You can find your existing Easy Automations under the Easy tab.
- Select Send an Email from the list of Thens or open an existing email.
- Click the Wand icon at the bottom of the email editor.
Selecting a Prompt
- Choose a prompt by clicking one of the prompt cards, or write your own and click Generate.
- If you wrote your own prompt, your content will be generated, and you can move on to the Modify generated content section. If you selected one of the existing prompt cards, you’ll have the option to specify a Company and Persona profile to train the AI.
Train the AI
- Before generating your prompt, you can specify a Company profile to use for this prompt using the Select a Company dropdown.
- Additionally, you can specify a target Persona profile to use for this prompt using the Select a Target customer persona dropdown
If you haven’t created a Company profile or Target persona, you can set these up in the AI Automation Assistant.
Modify Generated Content
- Once you’ve clicked to generate your content, you’ll be presented with the ability to modify the content.
- Review the content, and if desired, click the Modify button at the bottom of the Content Assistant.
- The following modification options are available:
- Change tone — adjust the tone of your message
- Change length — make your message shorter or longer
- Translate — translate your message into another language
You can also enter a custom modification in the “What would you like to change?” field, then click Modify.
Inserting the Message
- Once you are happy with the content, click Insert to add it to your message.

Can I use AI Content Assistant in the Email Builder within Advanced Automations or Broadcasts?
Advanced Automations and email broadcasts use a different email editor, which includes its own AI functionality
Do I need to set up a Company profile or Target customer persona to use AI Content Assistant?
No. You can generate content without selecting a Company profile or Target customer persona. These settings are optional and only help tailor the output if used.
Can I use AI Content Assistant when editing email templates?
Yes. AI Content Assistant is available when editing email templates in Easy Automations and contact records.
Can I use AI Content Assistant for writing text messages?
Not at this time.
What languages are currently supported via the Translate modification?
American English, Australian English, UK English, French, German, Norwegian, Portuguese, Spanish, Swedish, Korean, and Chinese.
What information is used in creating content?
AI Content Assistant uses the information you enter in the prompt field(s) to generate content.
