How to Set Up a Pipeline Stage Moved Trigger

1. Drag the Pipeline Stage Moved object onto the canvas
   
2. Configure which stage you're either moving into or out of. In the example contained in this screenshot, I want to add automation when someone moves into the Quote Accepted stage from the Consulting Packages pipeline.
   
3. Click Save
4. Now, start adding the next actions that will be taken when this stage change occurs.
   
5. Keep adding more Pipeline Stage moved goals onto the canvas to meet all of your automation needs.
   
6. When finished, Publish your automation.
   

FAQ

Why isn't my Pipeline Stage Moved trigger firing when I create a deal?

The Pipeline Stage Moved trigger only fires when a deal is manually dragged from one stage to another within your pipeline. Creating a new deal directly in a stage, either manually or through Easy Automation or Advanced Automation, does not activate the trigger.

What should I use if I want automation to fire based on a deal's starting stage?

If you need automation to run when a deal first enters a stage regardless of how it got there, use the Deal Enters Stage trigger in Easy Automation instead of the Pipeline Stage Moved trigger in the automation builder.
