Growth Packages offer placement on our network of partner sites, resulting in more impressions, and consequently more calls, for your enhanced profiles!

Note: Because Growth Packages direct web traffic to your enhanced profiles, it is highly recommended that you have all profiles enabled, and that your listing profile is filled out in great detail. Growth Packages will direct leads to your profile, but having an impressive and complete profile is key to helping them convert!

What are Growth Packages?

A Growth Package is a network of partner sites and paid advertisements with the goal of getting more exposure for your Enhanced Profiles. By purchasing a Growth Package, you will receive special placement on partner sites, dynamic search ads, Yelp CPC ads, as well as comprehensive reporting.

While having a robust listing profile and Enhanced Profiles are a great foundation for your online presence, Growth Packages offer a way to jumpstart your business by using paid ads in strategic places online to promote your profiles for an overall lower cost. 65% of clicks on transactional search engine results pages happen on paid ads1 and Growth Packages' combination of paid ads work hand in hand with your existing Enhanced Profiles to give them even more exposure to potential customers. 

Where can my ads appear?

Thryv Owned and operated sites

Ads can appear on our owned and operated search sites including yp.com. Your YP Enhanced Profile will always appear on the right rail for searches in your category, and you may also receive a Rotational Premiere Placement (RPP). RPPs appear on YP.com above the organic search results and on the YP.com mobile app. Your RPP listing will rotate with other Growth Package customers in the same category and area. This ad is exclusively available with Growth Packages. When a lead clicks on these ads, they will be directed to your YP Enhanced Profile. YP.com receives over 60 million visitors each month, and RPP ads put your business above the competition in front of ready-to-buy leads.

Setup

Your Growth Package is set up in the Listings Management tab. 

When a lead clicks on one of your ads included with your Growth Package, they will be directed to your Enhanced Profiles. The best way to ensure conversion when this happens is to have your profile filled out as completely as possible with details. The more information on your profiles, the more likely a potential lead will choose your business. If you have already set up your listing profile information, and your Enhanced Profiles, click on Growth Package in the shortcuts menu to skip to selecting cities for your profile to appear in.

Your growth package will display your profiles in paid ads in your business home city, and up to 5 additional cities. Use the city drop-down to add more cities. The home city will be determined by the address of your business as defined above on this screen, and it can not be removed. Your Enhanced Profiles and paid advertisements will display in each city selected. You are free to expand your reach to another state, another key metropolitan area or consolidate in the cities surrounding your area. There is no mileage limit and cities do not have to be connected, you can reach the exact area that benefits your business.

Reporting

To view the results for your Growth Package, click on the Analytics tab in the left-hand navigation.

Then, select Enhanced Profile + Growth Package from the top row.

The chart will display phone calls to your tracked phone numbers in your Growth Package. Use the drop-downs to filter by source and time range. For impression and click data, click on the link for yellow.com to be taken to the report.

FAQ

Do I need to create a landing page to use with my Growth Package?

Your Growth Package will leverage your existing Enhanced Profiles to convert leads. Your YP and Yelp Enhanced Profiles, which are filled out with the information on your Listings Management screen, will be the destination for all leads who click on your ads.

Do Growth Packages come with a call or lead expectation?

No. Growth Packages offer placement and exposure on our partner sites. The number of impressions/clicks required to generate a call varies greatly by industry, geography, and several other factors, so it is not possible to guarantee a set amount of calls/leads. You can view calls, clicks, and impressions in the Growth Packages tab in your Thryv Marketing Center analytics.

How can I purchase a Growth Package?

Growth Packages must be purchased from your Thryv Business Advisor.

Am I able to use postal codes or counties for my Growth Package?

No, only cities are available for Growth Packages.

Are there any limitations to the cities purchased?

No more than 5 cities outside of your business home city can be purchased. You are able to select any cities that appear in the drop-down. There is no size limit and the cities do not need to be connected.

Can I change my cities purchased?

Yes, all you need to do is uncheck the previous cities and check the new ones in the drop-down. Please allow 48-72 hours for the change to take effect.

How do I see or control which sites my ads will appear on?

Thryv Marketing Center will automatically determine this for you, by spending your media budget to get the most exposure for your Enhanced Profiles. This process is automatic and can't be adjusted.

Can I opt out of certain sites?

No, if you have a Growth Package, all of your Enhanced Profiles will remain on and can not be disabled.

Can I purchase multiple Growth Packages?

Only one Growth Package can be purchased per Thryv Marketing Center account.

If I am a service based business and do not display my address on my online profiles, can I still use a Growth Package?

Yes, you can still use all Enhanced Profiles with a hidden address. Keep in mind that some publishers in our listing network will not display businesses without an address.

If I am already an advertiser on YP.com, can I still use a Growth Package?

If you have a PLL (Priority Local Listing) you can keep this advertisement alongside your Growth Package, but if you have YP metal listings (Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze) these will need to be cancelled. Please contact your Business Advisor for details. 

If I am running my own Google ads, can I still use a Growth Package?

Yes! Your Growth Package does not interfere with your Google ads in any way, you can continue to use both at the same time.

Can I disable call recording?

Yes, you can disable call recording in your Settings. Keep in mind that call tracking numbers are required and can't be disabled.

How do I edit the landing page for my ads?

Because Growth Packages leverage your existing Enhanced Profiles in Thryv Marketing Center, any edits you make in your Listings Management Profile will reflect there. You can use this tab to add any information you want your leads to see.
