Find Your Email Templates Faster with Search
The My Templates tab now includes a search bar that lets you find a saved email template by name without scrolling through your full template list. You can use the template search bar when creating an email broadcast and when setting up an email step in the advanced automation builder.
Note: The template search feature is not available for Keap Classic accounts.
The My Templates tab displays a search bar at the top of the template list. Typing in the search bar filters the template list to show only templates whose names or subject lines match the search term entered.
How to Search for a Template When Creating an Email Broadcast
- In the left-hand navigation, click Comms to open the Communications section. Then click Email Broadcast and click Create email broadcast to start a new broadcast.
On the Content step of the broadcast setup, click Create Content to open the email builder.
The Content step displays the Create Content button. Clicking Create Content opens the email builder where the template gallery and My Templates tab are accessible.
In the email builder gallery, click the My templates tab to view your saved email templates.
The email builder gallery displays tabs for template categories. The My templates tab is listed among the tabs. Clicking My templates opens the list of your saved email templates and displays the search bar.
In the search bar at the top of the My templates tab, type the name or subject line of the template you want to find. The template list will filter in real time to show only templates that match the search term.

How to Search for a Template When Setting Up an Advanced Automation Email Step
In the advanced automation builder, drag an Email message step onto the automation canvas at the position in the sequence where you want the email to be sent.
The automation builder canvas displays the Email message step placed in the sequence. Double-click the Email message step to open its configuration panel.
In the Email message configuration panel, click Create Content on the Content step to open the email builder.

In the email builder gallery, click the My templates tab to view your saved email templates.
The email builder gallery displays the tab row at the top. Clicking the My templates tab opens the list of your saved email templates with the search bar visible at the top.
In the search bar at the top of the My templates tab, type the name or subject line of the template you want to find. The template list will filter to show only matching templates.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I search by template name and subject line?
It depends on the template type. Legacy email templates in the My Templates, Sent emails, and Drafts tabs can be searched by both template name and subject line. New email templates in the My Templates tab can currently be searched by template name only — subject line search is not yet available for new templates. New Drafts and new Sent emails can be searched by both template name and subject line.
Can I search by words in the body of the email?
No. Searching by words in the email body is not supported. The search bar only searches template names and subject lines, depending on the template type as described above.
Is the template search feature available in Keap Classic?
No. The template search feature is not available for Keap Classic accounts. Keap Classic users do not have access to the search bar in the My Templates tab.
