Why automate your forms
When a contact fills out a form, that is often the best moment to follow up. Doing it manually means leads can go cold before you get to them. Connecting an Easy Automation to your form lets Keap handle the next step automatically the moment a submission comes in, so you stay responsive without adding to your workload. Whether your team is submitting internal forms or customers are filling out public forms on their own, Easy Automations make sure every submission gets the follow-up it deserves.
How to identify forms connected to an Easy Automation
Any internal or public form connected to an Easy Automation displays a lightning bolt icon to the right of its name on the Forms page.
The color of the icon indicates the automation's status:
- Green lightning bolt — at least one Easy Automation connected to the form is published and running
- Grey lightning bolt — the form has an Easy Automation connected, but it is saved as a Draft and has not been published yet
- No icon — no Easy automation is connected to the form
View or edit automations for a form
Click the lightning bolt icon to open the My automations panel. The panel lists all Easy Automations connected to that form, along with their current status (Active or Draft).
To edit, rename, make a copy, or delete an automation, click the tri-dot (more) menu to the right of the automation name and select an option from the dropdown. You can also open the automation by simply clicking it.
Create a new automation for a form
On the Forms page, click the name of the form you would like to create an automation for. This will open the Form Builder.
Navigate to the Automate (Step 3) section once in the Form Builder, and choose one of the automation templates, or select Create custom automation.
