Why Searching Communications Helps You Find the Right Conversation Quickly

When managing communications with many clients, scrolling through a full list of conversations to find a specific contact is time-consuming. The search function in the Communications tab lets you locate a specific conversation instantly by entering the contact's name or phone number. This is particularly useful when following up on a specific message or reviewing a prior conversation before a client interaction.

How to Search Conversations in the Communications Tab

Follow these steps to search for a conversation in the Communications tab in the Thryv mobile app.

1. Tap Communications in the bottom navigation of the Thryv mobile app.

2. Tap the magnifying glass icon at the top of the Communications tab to open the search field.

3. Enter a contact name or phone number in the search field. The Communications tab supports the following search options:

   • First name

   • Last name

   • Phone number

   Matching conversations appear in the results as the search term is entered. Select the conversation from the results to open it.
