Why Adding a Custom Favicon Strengthens Your Brand Online
A favicon is the small icon displayed in the browser address bar and browser tab that represents a website. Visitors see the favicon every time your landing page is open in a browser tab — it is a subtle but consistent branding signal that makes your page look professional and recognizable. Adding a custom favicon to a Keap Legacy Landing Page replaces the default browser icon with your own brand icon, typically a simplified version of your company logo.
How to Add a Custom Favicon to a Keap Legacy Landing Page
To add a custom favicon, the favicon image must be hosted on a web server so that it can be referenced by URL in the landing page settings. Using your existing website to host the favicon image is recommended. Follow these steps to prepare and add a custom favicon to a Keap Legacy Landing Page.

-
Prepare a compatible favicon image. Favicons must be in a compatible image format. PNG format is recommended. If a favicon image is not already available, use a favicon generator tool to create one — for example, see Favikon — a free online favicon generator to create a favicon from a logo or image.

Download the favicon file to your computer in PNG format.
Upload the favicon file to a web server. The favicon image must be hosted on a publicly accessible web server so it can be referenced by a URL. Uploading the file to your existing website is the recommended hosting option.
Copy the direct URL of the hosted favicon file. After uploading the favicon file to the web server, locate the direct URL of the uploaded file. The URL must point directly to the image file — for example, https://yourwebsite.com/favicon.png. This URL will be entered in the landing page settings in the next step.
-
Open the Settings for the Keap Legacy Landing Page where the favicon will be added.
The screenshot above shows the Keap Legacy Landing Page editor with the Settings option visible. Selecting Settings opens the landing page configuration panel where the Favicon section is located.
-
In the settings panel, select Favicon.

Republish the landing page to apply the favicon change. The custom favicon will appear in the browser tab the next time the published landing page is opened in a browser.
