The Social Share Settings in your landing page builder let you control how your landing page appears when someone shares it on Facebook or other social media platforms. Without configuring these settings, the social media platform will automatically pull an image, title, and description from your landing page — which may not represent your page the way you want. Setting up your social share preview ensures every share of your landing page looks polished and on-brand without needing to know Facebook's Open Graph markup language.
A social share preview has four components: an image, a URL, a title, and a description.
For guidance on image dimensions and best practices for social sharing, see Facebook's social share best practices guide.
How to Set Up Social Share Settings on Your Landing Page
-
Open the landing page builder for the landing page you want to configure. Click the Settings menu in the landing page builder toolbar.
-
Click Social Share Settings (Opengraph) from the Settings menu to open the social share configuration panel.
-
Enter a title, URL, and description for your social share preview in the corresponding fields. The title appears as the bold heading in the share preview. The URL is the link that will be shared. The description appears as the supporting text below the title in the share preview.
-
Click Add an image to select the image that will appear at the top of your social share preview. Select an image from your Company Images library or upload a new image from your device.
- Click Done to save your social share settings.
- Publish your landing page to make the social share settings live. Your configured social share preview will appear whenever someone shares your landing page link on Facebook or other social media platforms.
