Why Adding a Tracking Code to Your Landing Page Helps You Measure Performance
Knowing how many people visit a landing page is useful — knowing what they do after they arrive is what drives improvement. Adding a Google Analytics tracking code to a Keap Legacy Landing Page lets you track visitor behavior, traffic sources, and conversion events directly in your Google Analytics account. Adding a Facebook Pixel tracks visitor actions for use in Facebook ad retargeting and conversion optimization. Both tracking codes can be added to the same landing page using the Tracking settings in the Keap Legacy Landing Page builder.
How to Add a Tracking Code to a Keap Legacy Landing Page

Open the Keap Legacy Landing Page builder and navigate to the landing page where the tracking code will be added.

Selecting Tracking opens the tracking code input field where the Google Analytics tracking code or Facebook Pixel tracking code is pasted. The tracking code input field accepts the full tracking script code copied from the Google Analytics or Facebook Pixel account.
Paste the tracking code into the tracking code input field. Copy the full tracking script from the Google Analytics account or the Facebook Pixel account and paste it into the field. The tracking code is added to the landing page HTML and will run automatically when a visitor loads the published landing page.
Select Done to save the tracking code. After saving, republish the landing page to apply the tracking code to the live published page.
Frequently Asked Questions
What does this article cover?
This article covers how to add a tracking code to a Keap Legacy Landing Page, including how to add a Google Analytics tracking code or a Facebook Pixel tracking code using the Tracking settings in the landing page builder. This article does not cover how to set up a Google Analytics account or configure a Facebook Pixel. For help setting up Google Analytics, see the Google Analytics tracking code setup guide. For help setting up a Facebook Pixel, see the Facebook Pixel setup guide.
Can I add both a Google Analytics tracking code and a Facebook Pixel to the same landing page?
Yes. Both a Google Analytics tracking code and a Facebook Pixel tracking code can be added to the same Keap Legacy Landing Page using the Tracking settings in the landing page builder. Paste both tracking scripts into the tracking code input field — each script will run independently when a visitor loads the published page.
Does the landing page need to be republished after adding a tracking code?
Yes. After adding the tracking code and selecting Done, the landing page must be republished for the tracking code to be active on the live published page. The tracking code will not fire for visitors until the landing page has been republished with the tracking code saved.
What format should the tracking code be in?
The tracking code should be the full tracking script copied directly from the Google Analytics account or the Facebook Pixel account — typically a JavaScript snippet enclosed in script tags. Copy the complete script exactly as provided by Google Analytics or Facebook Pixel and paste it into the tracking code input field in the Keap Legacy Landing Page builder without modifying the code.
