Manage all of your automations in one place. The automation list view brings your Easy and Advanced automations together in a single screen so you can find, filter, sort, and take action on automations without switching between views. Instead of managing automations from a side drawer with limited options, you now have a full-screen list with sorting, filtering, bulk actions, and direct access to automation templates — all from the left-hand navigation.
This article covers how to navigate the automation list view, how to sort and filter your automations, how to take bulk actions, and how to create a new automation. For help building an automation from scratch, see the Easy Automations setup guide and the Advanced Automations setup guide.
Access Your Automations from the Left-Hand Navigation
Your automation list view is accessible directly from the left-hand navigation. Click My automations in the left-hand navigation to open the automation list view. The list view displays all of your Easy and Advanced automations in a single full-screen list, replacing the side drawer used in the previous version.
Switch Between Easy and Advanced Automations
The automation list view displays both Easy and Advanced automations. To view only one type, click Advanced or Easy in the top left corner of the automation list view. The list will update to show only the automation type you selected. Clicking Advanced displays your Advanced automations. Clicking Easy displays your Easy automations.
Sort and Filter Your Automations
Use sorting and filtering to quickly find the automations you need without scrolling through the full list.
To sort your Advanced automations, click any column header in the automation list view. Advanced automations can be sorted by the following columns:
- Name — sorts alphabetically by automation title
- Category — sorts alphabetically by category name
- Publish Date — sorts by the date the automation was published
- ID — sorts by the automation ID number
To filter your automations, use the filter options available above the automation list. Advanced automations can be filtered by status and by category, including the Uncategorized category. Easy automations can be filtered by trigger type.
Take Bulk Actions on Multiple Automations
You can take bulk actions on multiple Easy or Advanced automations at the same time. To select automations for a bulk action, check the checkbox next to each automation you want to include. The bulk action options will appear at the bottom of the screen once at least one automation is selected.
Automations load sequentially in groups of 25. If you need to select more than 25 automations, scroll down to load the next group before selecting additional automations. Automations that are locked by a partner cannot be deleted using bulk actions. See the Automation List View FAQs section below for more information on locked automations.
Create a New Automation
To create a new automation from the automation list view, click the Create an automation button in the top right corner of the automation list view. A menu will open with the following options:
- Start a new Easy automation
- Start a new Advanced automation
- Start from a proven automation template built for common business workflows
Automation List View FAQs
Why can't I delete some automations using the bulk action?
Automations that are locked by a partner cannot be deleted using bulk actions. A partner lock prevents changes to or deletion of specific automations to protect workflows that were set up on your behalf. To delete a partner-locked automation, contact the partner who set up the automation or contact support for assistance.
Why do I have to wait to edit an automation after another user closed it?
When a user exits an automation by closing the browser tab or clicking the browser back button instead of saving and exiting properly, the automation remains locked for editing for 15 minutes. This lock prevents two users from overwriting each other's changes. If another user closed the automation and you need to edit it immediately, wait 15 minutes and then open the automation again. The lock will release automatically after 15 minutes.
