Why Message Actions Save You Time in Your CRM
When a contact calls or texts you, the next step is rarely just to read the message — you usually need to call back, take a note, or create a follow-up task. Message actions in your Keap™ Mobile Business Line let you take those next steps directly from the communication thread without navigating away from the conversation. Tapping a message opens a set of contextual actions based on the message type, so your response is always one tap away.
How to Use Call Message Actions
To access call actions, tap a call message in the communications thread. A menu will appear with the following options:
View call details — opens the full details for that call, including the call duration, direction, and timestamp.
Call back — initiates a return call to the contact directly from the thread.
Create a task — opens the task creation screen with the contact pre-populated so you can create a follow-up task linked to that call.
Add call note — opens a note field where you can add context or details about the call directly to the contact's record.

The menu displays four options in a vertical list: View call details, Call back, Create a task, and Add call note. The menu appears as an overlay on the communications thread screen. No text message actions appear in this menu — call actions and text actions are separate menus.
How to Use Text Message Actions
To access text message actions, tap a text message in the communications thread. A menu will appear with the following options:
Copy text — copies the full text of the message to your device clipboard so you can paste it elsewhere.
Create task from message — opens the task creation screen with the message content pre-populated as the task description and the contact pre-linked, so you can turn the message into a follow-up action without retyping the details.
The screenshot below shows the text message action menu that appears after tapping a text message in the Keap Mobile Business Line communications thread. The menu displays two options: Copy text and Create task from message. The menu appears as an overlay on the communications thread screen. No call actions appear in this menu — text actions and call actions are separate menus.
