The Auto-reply to missed calls feature on your Keap Business Line automatically sends a text message to anyone whose call you miss — so your business stays responsive even when you are unavailable. Responding quickly to missed calls builds trust and increases the chance of converting a lead before they move on to a competitor. The Keap Business Line is available in the US and Canada.
How Auto-Reply to Missed Calls Works
When Auto-reply to missed calls is turned on, any contact who calls your Keap Business Line and does not reach you will automatically receive your customized text message response. The auto-reply is sent a maximum of once per day per contact, so a contact who calls multiple times in the same day will only receive one auto-reply message. Auto-reply messages have a 160 character limit.
How to Set Up Auto-Reply to Missed Calls in the Keap Mobile App
- Tap the gear icon in the Keap mobile app to open Settings.
- Tap Messaging and phone from the Settings menu.
- Tap the Auto-reply to missed calls toggle to turn the feature on. When the toggle is enabled, the auto-reply feature is active and will begin sending your auto-reply message to contacts who call your Keap Business Line and do not reach you.
- Tap Reply with to customize the text message that will be sent automatically when you miss a call. The Reply with option appears below the Auto-reply to missed calls toggle after the feature is turned on.
- Edit your auto-reply message in the text field. Your message must be 160 characters or fewer. Tap Save when you are finished to apply the updated message.
