Why Organizing Contacts by Company Helps You Manage Business Relationships
When working with business clients, multiple contacts at the same company need to be managed together — not as separate unrelated records. The Companies list in Keap organizes all contacts under their associated company in a single view, making it easy to see who works at a company, take action on all contacts at that company at once, and transfer contacts between companies when accounts change. A search bar at the top of the Companies list provides quick access to any company without scrolling through the full list.
How to Access Your Companies List in Keap

Select Contacts in the left-hand navigation of your Keap account, then select Companies.

The Companies list displays all companies in the Keap account with 50 companies shown per page.

Use the page navigation buttons at the bottom of the Companies list to move between pages when the company list spans multiple pages.

How to View Contacts Associated With a Company
Open the Companies list by selecting Contacts then Companies in the left-hand navigation.

Select a company from the Companies list to open the company record and view the contacts associated with that company.

Select any contact in the list to open that contact's individual contact record.

How to Add Contacts to a Company
Contacts can be added to a company from the Companies list or by updating the Company field directly on an individual contact record. Follow these steps to add contacts using the Companies list.

Open the Companies list and select the company to add contacts to.

Select the + button or the Add a Contact button to open the contact selection panel.

Select an existing contact to add to the company or create a new contact. To use an internal form while adding contacts, select the Add contacts to this company header in the contact selection panel.

Select Add Contacts to confirm the addition.

How to Transfer Contacts to a Different Company
Open the Companies list and select the company whose contacts will be transferred.

Select the contacts to transfer. Select Select All to select all contacts at the company, or select the avatar next to each individual contact to select specific contacts.

Select Transfer from the action options.

Select the company to transfer the contacts to.
The screenshot above shows the Keap company transfer panel. The panel displays the available companies. Select the destination company to which the selected contacts will be transferred.

Select Review Changes to preview the transfer before applying.
The screenshot above shows the Keap company transfer review screen with the Review Changes button visible. Selecting Review Changes displays a summary of which contacts will be transferred and to which company before the transfer is finalized.

Select Apply Changes to complete the transfer.

How to Take Bulk Actions on Multiple Contacts at a Company
The Companies list allows bulk actions to be taken on all or selected contacts at a company. The following bulk actions are available: add or remove tags, send a broadcast email, export contact details, add contacts to an automation, and delete contacts.
Open the Companies list and select the company whose contacts the bulk action will be applied to.

Select the contacts to include in the bulk action. Select Select All to include all contacts at the company, or select the avatar next to each individual contact to select specific contacts.

Can I add a contact to a company from the contact record instead of the Companies list?
Yes. Contacts can be added to a company by opening the individual contact record and updating the Company field on the record. This is an alternative to adding contacts through the Companies list and produces the same result.
What bulk actions are available for contacts in the Companies list?
The following bulk actions are available when one or more contacts are selected in the Companies list — Add Tags, Remove Tags, Send Broadcast, Export, Add to Automation, and Delete. Select the contacts to act on using Select All or by selecting individual contact avatars, then choose the desired action from the bulk action toolbar.
Can I transfer only some contacts at a company rather than all of them?
Yes. Select the avatar next to each individual contact to select specific contacts for the transfer rather than using Select All. Only the contacts with their avatars selected will be included in the transfer. After selecting the specific contacts, select Transfer from the action options and choose the destination company.
