Why Contact Time Zone and Language Settings Matter
Keap uses the time zone and language stored on a contact record to personalize communications and ensure that scheduled messages are delivered at the right local time for each contact. When a contact fills out a public form or purchases from a checkout page, Keap automatically sets the contact's time zone and language based on the browser settings detected at the time of submission. If a contact's time zone or language is missing or incorrect, it can be updated manually directly on the contact record at any time.
How to Update the Time Zone or Language on a Contact Record in Keap
Follow these steps to manually update the time zone or language setting on a contact record in Keap.

Open the contact record and select the Edit button in the top right corner of the contact record page.
The screenshot above shows a Keap contact record with the Edit button visible in the top right corner of the page. Selecting Edit opens the contact record for editing and makes all contact fields editable, including the time zone and language fields in the Additional Info section.

Scroll down to the Additional Info section of the contact record. Select the Time Zone dropdown to choose a new time zone, or select the Language dropdown to choose a new language. Select the desired value from the dropdown menu to apply the change.

The Additional Info section appears below the main contact fields when scrolling down the contact record in edit mode. Select the correct time zone or language from the dropdown and save the contact record to apply the changes.
