This article covers how to add a new user or Keap Partner to your app, deactivate a user to remove their access, change a user's assigned role, and leave an app as a Partner. You must have Admin access to add or deactivate users.
How to Add a User or a Keap Partner

Click your avatar in the navigation and select Settings to open the Settings page.

Click Users to open the Users settings page.

Click Add a user to open the new user form.

Enter the name and email address of the person you are adding.

Select a user role for the new user. A description of the permissions included with each role is displayed below the role name.
For Keap Partners: Check the Keap partner checkbox and select the appropriate role using the radio button. The email address you enter will be validated to confirm it belongs to a Keap Certified Partner. If the email address is not associated with a certified partner account, the invitation will not be sent.
The Keap partner checkbox and role radio buttons are displayed in the new user form. The validation message appears if the email address does not match a Keap Certified Partner account.

Click Send user invite to send an invitation email to the new user. The invitation email contains a link for the user to create their login for the Keap app.
The Send user invite button is located at the bottom of the new user form. Clicking it sends the invitation and adds the user to your Users list in a pending state until they accept the invitation.
How to Deactivate and Remove a User
Removing a user from Keap is done by deactivating their account. Deactivating a user revokes their access to the app. You must have Admin access to deactivate a user.

Click your avatar in the navigation and select Settings.

Click Users to open the Users settings page.

Click the name of the user you want to deactivate to open their user record.

Scroll to the bottom of the user record and click Deactivate user.
The Deactivate user button is located at the bottom of the user record. Clicking it opens a confirmation dialog.
- Click Deactivate user in the confirmation dialog to confirm. The user's access to the app is revoked immediately.
How to Edit a User's Role

Click your avatar in the navigation and select Settings.

Click Users to open the Users settings page.

Click the name of the user whose role you want to change.

On the user record, scroll to the Role section and click the Role drop-down to select a new role. Click Save to apply the change.
The Role drop-down displays all available roles for the account. Selecting a different role immediately changes what the user can access and do in the app when you save. For a full description of each role's permissions, see the user roles and permissions guide.
How to Leave an App as a Keap Partner
Before leaving an app as a Partner, you must first remove yourself as the assigned owner of all contacts in that app. Attempting to leave an app while you still have assigned contacts will result in an error.
- Navigate to Account Central to see all apps associated with your partner account.
- Locate the app you want to leave in the Account Central list.

Click Configure next to the app name to open the app configuration options.
The Configure button is located next to each app name in the Account Central list. Clicking it opens the configuration options for that app, including the Leave Account option.

Click Leave Account to initiate the process of leaving the app.

Confirm your decision to leave the app and give up access to it.
The confirmation dialog displays a warning that you will lose access to the app after confirming. Click the confirmation button to complete the process.
- The app is removed from your Account Central list and your partner access to the app is revoked.
