Manage Contacts on the Go
The Keap Mobile app allows contacts, tasks, and notes to be added or accessed from anywhere. Mobile reminders and alerts help avoid missed follow-ups and keep customer interactions on track.
Import a Contact From a Device's Contacts App
Keap Mobile can detect contacts saved on the device and import them directly into the Keap CRM.
Navigate to the contacts list in Keap Mobile.

Tap the Search icon to search for a contact.

Search for a contact that is not yet in Keap but is saved on the device. When a matching record is found in the device contacts app, a notification appears. Tap See 1 matching contact.

Tap Add to Keap to import the contact.

The contact is now imported into Keap and is available for calls, messages, notes, and tasks.

Add a Contact
Navigate to Contacts by tapping the person icon.

Tap the add contact button at the lower-right of the screen.

Three options are available for adding a contact:
Enter manually — Enter contact details by hand.
Import contacts — View contacts saved on the device and import them into Keap.
Scan business card — Photograph a business card to automatically transcribe and create a contact record.
Enter a Contact Manually

Tap Enter manually.

Enter the contact's information.

Tap Done.

Note: A first name or email address is required to save a new contact.
Scan a Business Card
Navigate to Contacts by tapping the person icon.

Tap the blue add contact button.

Note: The first time a business card is scanned, Keap Mobile requests permission to access the device camera. Tap OK to grant permission.

Position the business card within the camera frame.
Tap the camera button at the bottom of the screen to capture the image.

After the image is captured, transcription takes approximately 1–3 seconds.

Tip: Keep the device steady for the best image quality. If the image is blurry or transcription missed content, select Retake photo to try again.

Review the transcribed information and edit any fields as needed.

To change a field type, tap the field type label and select a different field from the list.

Supported field types for business card scanning:
First name
Last name
Company
Email
Phone (phone extensions are not supported)
Job title
Website
Fax
LinkedIn
Twitter
Facebook
Tap Ignore next to any field to exclude it from the saved contact record.

If the business card has additional content such as a name or website on the back, tap + Add a field to manually add a field and enter the details.

Tap Done to save the contact.

Note: A first name, last name, or email address is required to save the contact.
After saving, the confirmation screen provides the following options:
View the newly created contact record.
Scan another business card to continue adding contacts.

Tap Done to finish.

Import Contacts From the Device
Navigate to Contacts.

Tap the blue + button at the lower-right of the screen.

Tap Import contacts.

Scroll through the device contacts list and select the contacts to import.
