This article covers how to connect Keap™ to other apps using Zapier, what the Keap app on Zapier can do, available triggers and actions, and how to get support for Zapier issues.
Note: For issues with the Zapier integration, the first step is to contact Zapier support directly. If Zapier determines the issue is on Keap's end, they will escalate the issue with all relevant context to the Keap team. For more information, see the Keap third-party integration support process.
Getting Started With Zapier and Keap
Zapier connects Keap to thousands of other web services. Automated connections called Zaps can automate day-to-day tasks and build workflows between apps without coding. Each Zap has a single Trigger — the event that starts the Zap — and one or more Actions that run automatically in other connected apps.
A free Zapier account is required to get started. Sign up at zapier.com/apps/Keap/integrations.
For help with Zapier, see Zapier's Help and Support resources.
Use Zapier Without Leaving Keap (Ultimate Users)
Keap Ultimate accounts can access and manage Zapier directly from within the Keap application.
Navigate to Automation, then select Zapier.
Select the Sign In button at the top-right of the screen.
Complete the authentication steps to connect the Keap account to Zapier.
Select the Zaps icon in the left menu of the embedded Zapier experience.
Use Zapier as normal from within the embedded experience.
Note: Zaps built using the Max Classic App on Zapier must continue to be accessed directly through Zapier. All Zaps created on the Keap App in Zapier will appear automatically within the Keap application.
Enhancements in the Keap App on Zapier
The Keap app on Zapier consolidates two previously separate integrations into a single unified app. Enhancements include:
No premium connection requirement — the Keap app can be connected at no additional cost for accounts under Zapier's minimum paid usage threshold.
More robust triggers and actions with full mapping to contact records.
Dynamic dropdowns that populate with easier-to-understand data and clearer schemas.
New functionality to provide a consistent experience across all Keap editions.
Note: Some triggers and actions are available to Keap Ultimate users only. Opportunities triggers and Appointments triggers are Ultimate-only features and are labeled as such in the Zapier interface.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does this article cover?
This article covers how to connect Keap to other apps using Zapier, available triggers and actions, and how to get support for Zapier issues.
Why was the Keap app on Zapier changed?
Previously, two separate Zapier apps existed for connecting to Keap, each with different functionality. The two apps have been consolidated into one unified Keap app on Zapier to reduce confusion and provide a consistent experience for all Keap users.
What happens to Zaps built on the Max Classic Zapier App?
Existing Zaps built on the Max Classic Zapier App will continue to run as built. Access to the Max Classic Zapier App will be hidden in the coming weeks and will not be maintained by Keap or Zapier going forward.
If a Zap built on the Max Classic App needs to be edited or breaks, the affected steps must be rebuilt using the new Keap app. All required functionality is available in the new Keap app.
Note: Users of the "New Payments Feature" in the Max Classic Zapier App should use the New Payment (All Types) trigger in the new Keap app. Any existing Zaps using this feature will continue to run, but must be rebuilt in the new Keap app if edited or broken.
What should be done if there is an issue with the Keap app on Zapier?
For issues with the Zapier integration, contact Zapier support using the help icon at the bottom-right of the Zap building screen in Zapier. Select I need support and then I am experiencing an issue with Zapier. Zapier will capture the relevant settings and logs and escalate to the Keap team if needed.
The screenshot above shows the Zapier help icon and support options in the Zap builder.
Note: Keap Support will direct Zapier-related inquiries to Zapier directly, as the context required for Keap's development team to investigate must come through Zapier's support ticket system.
