This article covers how to customize the Keap™ dashboard, including how to add and toggle widgets on or off, how to remove widgets, and what widget types are available. Each user in Keap can customize their own dashboard independently — changes made by one user do not affect other users' dashboards. This article does not cover how to configure individual widget settings. For help with specific widgets, see how to add a group widget to your Keap dashboard.
Why Customizing Your Dashboard Saves Time Every Day
The Keap dashboard is the first screen visible when signing in — making it the most valuable real estate in the account for displaying information that matters most to each user. A sales rep may want to see their tasks, appointments, and recent activity front and center. A business owner may prefer revenue totals, invoice status, and broadcast performance. Customizing the dashboard to show only the most relevant widgets reduces the time spent navigating to information and keeps the most important data visible at a glance every time Keap is opened.
How to Add or Toggle Dashboard Widgets in Keap
-
Select the overflow menu icon (the three-dot menu) on any existing widget on the Keap dashboard.
The screenshot above shows the Keap dashboard with the overflow menu icon selected on an existing widget. Selecting the overflow menu icon opens a dropdown menu. The Manage Widgets option appears in this dropdown.
-
Select Manage Widgets from the dropdown menu.

-
Toggle individual widgets on or off using the toggle controls next to each widget name. Widgets toggled on will appear on the dashboard. Widgets toggled off will be hidden from the dashboard.

Toggling a widget on adds it to the dashboard. Toggling a widget off hides it from the dashboard without deleting any data associated with the widget.
-
Select Save to apply the widget display changes to the dashboard.
The screenshot above shows the Save button in the Keap widget management panel. Selecting Save applies all toggle changes and updates the dashboard to display only the widgets that are toggled on.
How to Remove a Widget From the Keap Dashboard
Widgets that are no longer needed can be removed from the dashboard entirely. Some default widgets cannot be removed — these widgets will not display a Remove Widget option in the overflow menu.
-
Select the overflow menu icon on the widget to be removed.
The screenshot above shows the Keap dashboard with the overflow menu icon selected on a widget. The dropdown menu appears with the Remove Widget option visible. If the Remove Widget option does not appear in the dropdown, the widget is a default widget that cannot be removed.
-
Select Remove Widget from the dropdown menu to remove the widget from the dashboard.
The screenshot above shows the Keap dashboard widget overflow menu with the Remove Widget option visible. Selecting Remove Widget removes the widget from the dashboard immediately. Removed widgets can be added back to the dashboard at any time using the Manage Widgets panel.
