Booking an appointment directly in Keap links the appointment to the contact record automatically — no manual data entry or copy-pasting between a separate calendar tool and the CRM. When an appointment is booked in Keap, the contact record is updated, the appointment appears on the calendar, and any connected follow-up automations can trigger based on the booking. This keeps the full history of client interactions in one place.
How to Book an Appointment in Keap

Select the Book Now button above the daily schedule or next to the desired appointment type.

Search for an existing contact or add a new contact to associate with the appointment.
The screenshot above shows the Keap appointment booking panel with the contact search field. Enter the contact name or email address to find an existing contact, or select the option to add a new contact if the person is not yet in the CRM.

Select the appointment type for the booking.

Select Continue and Select Time.

Select the date and time for the appointment from the calendar.

Select Confirm to complete the booking.

After the appointment is confirmed, choose from the following options in the success window:
View your appointments — Opens the appointments calendar view.
View the contact — Opens the contact record for the person the appointment was booked with.
Close — Closes the success window and returns to the previous screen.

Yes. During the booking process, the contact search panel allows both searching for an existing contact and adding a new contact. If the person being booked does not yet have a contact record in Keap, select the option to add a new contact and complete the contact details before proceeding with the booking.
Is the appointment linked to the contact record automatically?
Yes. When an appointment is booked in Keap, the appointment is automatically linked to the contact record of the person selected during the booking process. The appointment appears in the contact's activity history and on the Keap appointments calendar.
